The staff was VERY friendly, knowledgeable about gluten free but I did feel some stomach pains later that night…. I only had some carrot soup and a pasta dish with the zucchini noodles. I think they do have some cross contamination happening in the kitchen….

After reading the positive reviews, I was really optimistic about this place. Even though I didn't get sick, unfortunately my experience didn't match.
My friends & I went here right at the end of the day, and like I always do, I gave the cashier a heads up I have celiac. She was very nice about it, and I asked what would be the safest thing for me to order other than salad. Then a gentleman with some piercings told me that really nothing was safe except the salads. I told him that the reviews said otherwise, but he was pretty adamant about it.
At that point, if the person who is making my food is that insistent, I'm not going to push the issue & I reluctantly ordered a salad. He seemed more focused on talking to his coworkers about twerking anyway (can't make this up), so I wasn't super confident he was gonna be thorough anyway.
They seem like nice people, but not sure I'd come back after that experience. House Rock Kitchen was much better in my opinion.

Excellent dinner. Had the burger with their house GF bread. Also had a side salad. The staff let me know that it is a shared kitchen, but they do change gloves and do what they can. I’m pretty sensitive and had zero issues after my meal.

Wow this place is so good. I got the chicken pesto panini and the gf bread and was incredible. It was a really generous portion too. I also bought a loaf of the bread and it looks amazing. They were very nice and knowledgeable. 10/10 would come here again. Lol I would move here to have bread this good all the time.

The food was really good! Most of the menu is available GF, even the sandwiches and burgers if you sub for GF bread. Don’t miss the bread!! Their GF sandwich bread is available for sale by the loaf and is fantastic. It comes toasted as the “bun” if you order the burger GF and is the first time I’ve found a bread sturdy enough not to disintegrate under a decent burger. We enjoyed the elk burger with a side of kohlrabi slaw and an iceberg salad (and got a loaf of bread and a chocolate torte to take home for later). I have celiac and am really careful eating out - I felt very safe here.

I’ve only eaten here once, but the cashier knew a lot about my allergy and was very willing to help. She assured me that they wipe the counter space before they prepare your food, they use clean utensils and clean gloves. She did mention that it is also a bakery so there is flour in the air in the space between the kitchen and where you order. It wasn’t a problem for me at all. Their tomato bisque was to die for, but their steak and mozzarella sandwich on gf bread needed a little something (it was good but it tasted like each ingredient separately, not like a cohesive sandwich if that makes sense).

They clarified celiac or not and how they’d cook
I’ve been here twice and gotten the elk burger on a GF bun which was amazing. I also got the pesto pasta on zucchini noodles and it was also awesome

Simple Eatery (in the Trailhead bldg): Knowledgeable staff, absolutely awesome Thais Pesto dish with GF noodles. Even had GF bread served with meal. And we got a rocky road GF brownie to go!

So delicious!! Tons of gluten-free options including interesting soups, salads, burgers, bread. I had the berry salad with salmon, and a cup of carrot coconut soup with a side of gluten free bread. Amazing!! Very long line to order, but it was Saturday night. Food came quickly
Yes
Elk burger and chicken club were both delicious. The GF bread is super yummy!! Young lady taking our order cannot guarantee celiac friendly.
Only problem we had were the increased amount of flies. Can't really help that, we realize, it was just hard to eat with six or so flies bothering our table.
We will definitely be back though.
What a gem! Food was excellent, lots of GF options clearly marked on the menu as well as ways to substitute other options. They were very conscientious about changing gloves before preparing my daughter’s meal. Highly recommend!
Yes
they substituted noodles for rice noodles in chicken noodle soup. and had many gf options. not a dedicated area tho good gf peanut butter cookies. I get migraines when I eat gluten and didn't get sick.
