Great options. GF options are clearly marked. There is always a gluten-free baked good option available. The smoothies are wonderful. As is the oatmeal. The full menu is available all day long. This is a family-owned business. It has a lovely, friendly atmosphere.

Knowledgeable and recommended her gluten free favorite pastry! Coffee syrups are gluten free. I got an iced latte with caramel!

Man. I was excited to try this place and had a terrible experience. Explained that I had celiacs to the guy at the register. Said I cannot have gluten because it will make me very sick. Ordered a burger with a gluten free bun. Asked about chips, he said they were GF. The rest of the group ordered and I had a hunch I needed to ask again if he had asked the kitchen to change gloves. He gave me a look and said “oh, that’s right, you need a gluten free bun don’t you”
Told him to cancel my order and that he would’ve made me very very sick. The manager came over and apologized then took over the order.
I won’t be back. Just not worth it for a celiac. They have GF options but training is clearly lacking. You will get sick here if you come enough.

The burgers here are the best and gf, they use the UDI gf buns which I have always enjoyed. Try the farmhouse burger, it's delicious. My kids and I love the drive thru option, we love gf food on the go!

Urban Bean is much more than a coffee shop. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner that includes many gluten free choices which are clearly labeled on the menu. They always have a gluten free donut or oh their baked good which is a favorite treat for my GF child.

Food is delicious. We’ve tried the burgers and 2 sandwiches. Gluten free buns are good. Coffee is good and their gluten free vegan donuts.

I really like the tea & GF doughnuts! Burgers are good gf, too. I start talking to the staff taking my order & make my order depending on their knowledge/reaction. Food Allergy training is in the works!
Was only able to eat eggs. They have no clue how to cater to GF
If you have a food allergy, do not eat at this restaurant. I was told, now that I’m sick, that if you tell them you have an allergy, they tell you not to eat there. Not once have they ever informed me that I shouldn’t be eating at their establishment. They happily take my money and take my order.
The kitchen staff is not trained and they are completely negligent in reading red letters on orders. The excuse tonight, was that the chef was new. The real reason is because the chef isn’t trained. It’s hard to believe that a Saturday night, during spring break, the chef is brand new and not trained... Tonight, in my take out order, my “allergen” was on my food. I ate my allergen, not knowing and now I’m cancelling my kid’s spring break trip to Disney World, losing too much money, and pumping myself full of zofran, because someone can’t read.

This business is not celiac friendly. They just cater to the people that are doing the diet, they don't have a designated area to cook gluten free food. I would not recommend this place if you are truly celiac. If you want a good burger go to red robins in the Town center they are worth the money and they are celiac friendly.
No
They have a lot of options on the menu, but their staff is not trained well enough to get a good review. I have had my order put on regular bread, gluten-oil fried chips on my plate, and I’ve had to explain what gluten is to a waitress (who the manager later told me was pre-med). It would be a great place if they improved their training for these young kids working there. I still love their coffees and drinks!

Gluten free food is so good they run out. That’s the only down side. You can’t guarantee your favorites will be available every time you go.
Yes
So far, I’ve had one of their sandwiches on GF bread, the house chips, a chia latte, and a GF doughnut. That’s right- a doughnut! It was all amazing! I will definitely be going back! UB beats the pants off Starbucks, not to mention supporting local business is cool.
Yes
Awesome GF burger and the coffee beverages are also great! Way better than Starbucks.
