Celiac friendly, lots of options. Takes reservations!! (Recommended) we did take out when we were quoted a two hour wait, but food was perfect. Gluten free labeled on the top of the take out menu. I had shrimp and grits.

We were drawn to this restaurant because of its extensive gluten free options. My 8 yo daughter is celiac and it is tricky finding places she can safely eat. We were very happy with the decision. We ordered three entrees for my husband and I and three kids (6, 8, and 10.) We decided to get everything entirely gluten free so that we could share with all of us. The staff was very knowledgeable about this and lead us through the modifications. We ordered a shrimp plate (modification: grilled rather than fried, and mashed potatoes instead of fries), a rib eye steak, and a burger (modification: GF Udi's bun, nicely toasted.) Everything was happily consumed, with the most popular dish being the steak. All three kids now proclaim themselves steak lovers - we decided to overlook the catsup they used on it! My son, who typically won't touch any GF substitutes, didn't even realize he was eating a GF bun on his burger and started to get worried for his sister! All in all, a great dining experience. PS the kids knew they were in a great place when they were handed Wiki Stix instead of crayons for before dinner entertainment!

Super delicious food and a variety of options! The salmon was to die for. Also nice because they have gluten free noodles for their pasta dishes.

Staff were very knowledgeable and menu is clearly marked. They have three different ciders, the grouper taco appetizer was delish and I’m not actually a fan of fish usually. The lobster topped grouper made my husband very happy and I loved the warm kale salad with scallops added. We sat at the bar bc the wait fir a table was really long. Make a reservation ahead or plan to go early enough to wander or have a drink while you wait. I promise it’s worth it.

Best food we had while on AMI! Ate here twice on our vacation. Loved that GF options were clearly marked! Our server was delightful and very knowledgeable. My daughter and I are gluten-sensitive, not Celiac. I do wish they’d had more GF dessert options, but they’re right by Two Scoops ice cream so that problem was solved easily!

One of the most Celiac friendly menus I’ve seen in five years due to the owner having it as well. The atmosphere outside is casual but the food is by far the best in AMI and Longboat Key.

Many gluten free options. Staff was very helpful. The gluten free frutti di mare was excellent. The rest of my family, not gluten free, had excellent meals as well. While we waited for our table we walked along the beach. The view from their patio while we ate was perfect at sunset.

Clearly marked GF options. Food was outstanding- notably salad with avocado, hearts of palm and delicious balsamic reduction dressing. Grilled shrimp was delicious and the mushroom risotto was the best ever. Fairly pricey, but worth it for the piece of mind. Vegan diet can rejoice as well as they had a vegan loaf that was delicious as well.

Excellent gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu. Our waitress was very helpful, she is also gluten free. I had the lump crab salad and steak and my husband had the mushroom risotto and pan seared scallops and it was all delicious. We sat outside on the porch which has great views of the water and pier. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Had a nice salad and grilled grouper. The waiter told us that they understood cross contamination because the owner has celiac disease. He also gave great recommendations!

I had the moqueca. It was outstanding. Im gluten and dairy intolerant and very sensitive and I had no reaction. Waitress was great to hear my needs and communicate with chef. Best meal I've had out in a long time with no complications!

My husband and I enjoyed two wonderful dinners at this restaurant. Be prepared for a wait if you didn't make reservations. There were quite a few GF choices. The staff is pleasant. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The menu had plenty of mouth watering, delicious options that I didn't dare hope for. I had the blackened fish tacos. The server was knowledgeable and made me feel confident that she understood the issues. While they don't have a dedicated fryer for French fries (sadly), at least she was able to tell me this and understood the importance of it.

Do not eat here if you have gluten problems. I ordered a salad and tuna, specifically asking for gluten free with no croutons. The salad arrived and looked fine but there were 2 croutons hiding under the lettuce which I only noticed after eating most of it.

My wife and I stopped for a nice lunch. The menu is clearly marked for gluten-free items and the servers are knowledgeable and suggested adaptions. I had grouper tacos in corn tortillas after starting with a fruit and cheese board of excellent cheeses. Original Sin cider on draft and other options available too. A nice view over the bay on a sunny day meant for a wonderful lunch.

Our waitress seemed very knowledgeable about gf options and the menu is clearly marked with gf options. It is not a dedicated gf menu but we had a great meal with no issues at all, and the outside dining and atmosphere was great.

No GF alternatives, just the standard meat and salad routine. Absolutely nothing kid friendly. The other reviewer said too new for a dedicated fryer. Manager said it was never a plan to have dedicated fryer or any GF alternative items. Not celiac safe.

Great staff. Good food. Across the road from the ocean. Gluten free bread would have been five star. Call ahead if you mind waiting as very busy because food is excellent.

Good selection of GF menu items and the food was great! Their kitchen was under renovation so the fries didn't have a dedicated fryer so they brought me grapes instead. Nice to see local restaurants aware and knowledgable.
