Overall it was ok thus the 3 stars. We sat in the formal dining area and there is also a bar area where you can crack crabs (paper on the table instead of a white tablecloth). There was confusion with what the waiter said we could modify for a gluten free diet so we got up and got ready to leave. But the manager came over and assured us we could do substitutions even on the specials. We ended up with the rockfish with crab imperial and the petite filet with crab imperial (both originally came with a crab cake which we were originally told coudnt be substituted). Which brings me to the subject of a true MD crabcake... I will be a snob here now. A true MD crabcake should not have breading, crackers, panko etc used as a binder. Any recipe you see that does isnt what a true MD crabcake represents. Very few places will actually have a crabcake without the breading filler (but look around because some do in the North East MD area). Overall food came out as ordered and I had no reaction which was great. But it was very expensive for what you get. For 2, expect $100+ if you get drinks or appetizers etc.
