Review of Thirsty Mermaid

Not safe. Seriously, don’t risk it if you’re actually celiac. Ordered super carefully (explained I needed a burger with no bun because it was a serious allergy, no fries because of the cross contamination, etc) and nevertheless my burger came out with a bun.... no problem, it happens...I explained again to the waiter that I have a serious food allergy and couldn’t have any gluten, period, and would wait for a non-bun burger. They brought my plate back to the kitchen, threw the bun away, and brought the “gluten-free” plate back after 10 seconds covered in bread crumbs. Just....go elsewhere.
