Ate there and explained I had celiacs ect and they brought me my “gluten free food” with battered crunchy onions on it. Thankfully I asked what they were and they said “oh yeah those are covered in flour I guess they aren’t gluten free then”. Be careful here I wouldn’t trust them.

I have eaten here 5+ times since being diagnosed and have had no issues. I was just here for lunch a week ago and my server had the manager come chat with me about my allergy and assure me the chef had been alerted and they would do their best to accommodate. They have allergy markers they use which come out with your dish, makes me feel even safer. Usually have a gluten-removed beer and a few ciders. Food is incredible but a bit pricey.

Loved the fact that I had options of a bun or sandwich bread... usually only get a bun offer for sandwiches. My waitress even asked if I was celiac or intolerant. 0 reactions
I would be a regular here if I didn't live across the bridge. This is our place to go whenever we're in Gig Harbor. For the non-gluten free, there are a lot of local beers on tap. For the strictly gluten free, they have local cider.
According to the menu, "although we are not a gluten free establishment, we do offer a gluten free sandwich bread and bun at no extra charge." What gems. You can upgrade your beef burgers to grass fed from PALMS Ranch. Their grass fed burgers are great and very beefy. It's my usual, and I don't normally have a "usual."
incredibly gluten-aware compared to what you expect from a Tavern. Great steaks, amazing veggies, etc. They even redid the steak at no charge when we noticed it had onion tanglers! We even had good luck with the fries! No idea if they have a dedicated fryer, but the only worry they had was seasoning on the fries (which they said had a super tiny bit of gluten - but we were fine!).
They were very clear and double checked on everything I could and couldn't eat. Burgers, pizzas, sandwiches all available.
they have gf hamburger buns and pizza crust, lots of other options too. kinda pricey but I've never had anything gross and as long as I eat wisely, haven't had any issues with a gluten reaction. on a sunny day, sit on the deck and enjoy yourself!
