Despite my reservations with finger food in bars, I decided to try this establishment because of the multiple good reviews. Sadly, I cannot agree with these reviews, since I got a severe reaction after eating the nacho’s. The waitress was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable as she notified the kitchen about me being a celiac but still……. Would definitely not recommend to go here if you are coeliac.👎🏻👎🏻
Went here 3 nights because it was open late and near my hotel. First two nights seemed ok: chicken wrap and fries, wings. Server informed me that the fryer was safe.
The 3rd night I ordered grilled orange chicken off of the GF menu with a side of fries. The server informed me that the fries would not be safe, which I had already eaten the previous two nights without a server warning me. The kitchen brought out a plain grilled chicken breast on white rice with steamed broccoli and a few slivers of peppers. No scallions like the menu had indicated. It was an upsettingly bad meal, and on top of that I had to wait 20+ minutes to pay my bill so I could leave. I would not go back here for food.
I was surprised to see they had a “gluten sensitive” menu. I asked to speak to a manager before ordering and told him I have celiac. He said they have a dedicated fryer for fries and toast the gf bread in a toaster bag. He then alerted the kitchen that a celiac order was incoming. Then someone from the kitchen came out to talk to me. I don’t really get sick from eating gluten so can’t confirm there was no cc, but they seemed to be really on top of it
Super accomodating and we’re willing to work with me to make sure I didn’t die
Food is delicious! They have a gluten sensitive menu, so some items still have risk of cross contamination. The waiter was super helpful and noted my allergy on the ticket so the kitchen knew to wipe things down and prep separately. They have gluten free buns available so can still get a great burger too!
Very unsafe to eat here. Menu clearly states gluten sensitive and they don't take any care for cross contamination
I ordered the gluten free Rueben. I was concerned that the bread looked like rye. I asked the person who served me my food and my waitress about it. I was assured it was gf. I took a few bites, and sent it back to the kitchen… nope! They had brought me the regular gluten filled meal. I was so sick all night. Manager was so slow to come to the table. He comped my meal, but did not respond to an email the next day. I am so sad. This was a favorite place. But I can’t trust it anymore.
