Got very sick here after walking the staff through my needs. I used to be able to eat here, but lately it seems like they don’t care for cross contact anymore

Amazing experience and food. The majority of the menu is GF. They change gloves and have separate prep areas per staff. The fried fish tacos were AMAZING!! Light and crisp and juicy. No digestive issues AT ALL!!!

I’m SUPER sensitive to cross contamination, felt safe with their food allergy protocol and didn’t get sick. They marked everything on the order. The chips are fried in a dedicated gf fryer. I also had a taco, guacamole and salsa. Everything was delicious.

I was given different info than the previous reviewer: that the fryer is all GF and the kitchen can take CC precautions. Almost the entire menu is GF, except for a couple items such as flour tortillas. My ticket was also flagged as an allergy.
I thought the food was delicious and fresh. They also have a lot of vegan options if that is important to you. This place deserves a shoutout for being a chain with good food and being a good option for celiacs!
PS if you are on the fence about safety, check out the many positive reviews for all of the LA locations, and confirm with the staff.

Called ahead to ask about cross contamination procedures. They said all they do is change gloves. Shared fryer and shared prep space. Not celiac safe

They have a huge selection of gluten-free options! I had the most amazing burrito. They also have gluten-free fried fish tacos which are to die for. Lots of vegan and dairy free options as well.

We went here for lunch since I saw this establishment on this app… I thought it would be safe. I had a Fajita Del Ray bowl and we did order a side of Queso and Chips. I had a few chips and a little Queso and boy did I have a stomach ache and felt terrible all day long. Not what I wanted visiting my kids here in LA… ask questions before you order! We ordered on line, maybe that’s our error.

Meh. Lots of GF options, but the quality of food is underwhelming. The plantain chips were so hard they tasted burnt. The egg in the burrito had the texture of microwaved eggs. Definitely pass if you want good food.

Celiac approved for basic food. Do your own diligence. GF is marked & cc risk. I felt best with a few sides - cilantro rice, black beans & ceviche (no chips).

Loved this place. You can customize bowls to your liking. We were able to make it not spicy for my son. Delicious.
