WARNING. the menu attached to the app is more than 3 years old. very limited gf menu but if cross contamination is not a worry it opens a few more options. typical ice cream only desserts and NO topping.
Went to TB because of the GF menu, already had my dinner picked out & a dessert. Then, I saw the menu & was really disappointed because the menu was completely different! They have a very limited GF menu. We were about to leave but they said they could make what I originally wanted & it was so delicious!! I really enjoyed my meal & want to go back again before we go home. They seemed concerned about my meal being GF.
They had several GF menu items in a separate section on the menu, and my daughter was so excited to be able to order GF baby back ribs. She loved them (lots of flavor) and I had gluten free blackened fish tacos, which I devoured. No reaction to the food and the wait staff and server all called out gluten allergy when taking order and bringing the food.
Took celiac very seriously. Goat cheese was excellent but no gf chips or crackers to go with it. Blackened fish tacos on lettuce was wonderful too.
Great meal! The server was really knowledgeable, they were able to make their nightly special GF. They do have a separate GF menu, and detail the changes to regular menu items. Also, their blood orange margaritas are fantastic. The service was quite slow, but they gave us a free pineapple creme brulee to make up for it, which was delicious (and naturally GF). Would definitely recommend.
Some good options. A little dependant on waitstaff education and a couple times they gave me non-gf contaminated food but I caught it and they corrected. I've never gotten sick there. I keep coming back for fish tacos and grapefruit basil martinis
They have many items on their gf menu that they out in the fryer. The same fryer used for everything else. So everything on the gf menu is not gf. Beware. Had blackened fish tacos in lettuce. They were very good but there were some fried bananas in a sauce on the plate (not in food description and still put there after I told the waitress I could not eat something cooked in the deep fryer.
Ate here Oct 2014 with my family including 9-yr-old with Celiac. She had the filet. Waitress was very knowledgeable of Celiac, gluten, cc, etc. in fact when she brought the filet, it had something on it that concerned her (not sure what it was). She brought it back to the kitchen & they cooked a new filet & didn't charge us (it was a $60 steak).
We have three little children who also are gluten free in addition to myself. Finding food that I could eat and that the children would be happy with proved to be more trouble than it was worth. We left without eating. We could have ordered hot dogs off of the children's menu for our children, but what would the point be paying $7 per hot dog just to get a silly hotdog by itself ?
A little disappointed...the menu had a gluten sensitive symbol next to the Baby back ribs with fries and slaw but the fries aren't made in a dedicated fryer and the slaw had to be modified because it had won tons on it. The ribs and slaw were ok and the server was very nice.
I ordered the ribs which were gluten free, however the slaw that came with them had tortilla pieces in it. The chef came out, thoroughly apologized, and said I was supposed to have the slaw without the strips, but it was too late. I am now sick and hope my vacation isnt ruined. I would not recommend eating here.
A good selection of gluten-sensitive and vegetarian menu items here. Even an option on the kids menu. Food was excellent. They were careful to say they aren't truly GF (no separate prep/cook, etc) so probably not a place for someone with celiac. The service was painfully slow and our server very infrequent, but maybe just this day. We'll try it again.
Very few gluten free options. Loved this place before diagnosis, but not crazy about what they chose for the GF offerings. I won't be returning, but I did not get sick.
While the menu is limited, the choices they provide are excellent! They even offer baby back ribs, which is something sufferers of Celiac do not get to have very often. (By the way, they were excellent!) This was by far the most accommodating and best spot that we've tried, and frequented it six times while we were there. Simply put, they became our food source while we were off seeing the sites. We also brought our wedding party with us on multiple occasions and everyone loved their food. They would get five stars except that their servers don't always know about cross contamination with the fryers. I would also like to see some more organic offerings. Notes: Stay away from the fries! We had a few servers that weren't as knowledgeable, and they tried offering fries as a side. When we reconfirmed, we learned that they were not gluten-free. Also, if they try to offer you fried plantains instead of the bread, note that they might be in a shared fryer. There are only a couple of GF options, I wasn't in the mood for steak but it was very good. I'm not sure if I got sick or not, I ate the wrong thing at Kilwins right after so I can't say either way
Very expensive but absolutely delicious. The site is very attractive with inside or outside seating. They offer wonderful soups and desserts from time to time. I love their tomato soup. I also had some pineapple upside down cake on another visit. I suggest lunch unless you are wealthy. Service is good.
Not many options dedicated to GF. Had to find a way to create a meal that was acceptable. Food was good but quite expensive
Great menu ! Waiters willing to work with you on gluten free options! One of the best meals we had on the trip!
Scallops cooked perfectly. Who would of thought GF could be so delicious!
