Owner and staff are not accommodating during the busy summer tourist season. Very frustrating to be able to eat some days (off season) and then told that dealing with GF guests is a pain, to eat elsewhere (exact quote) others. Due to bad attitudes we will unfortunately eat at many of the other restaurants in Cooperstown that are happy to safely serve us
I'm a local in Cooperstown and I eat at Toscana on a regular basis. The kitchen is very familiar with Gluten Free. When making reservations tell them you are gluten free and ask to sit with Diane or Kate. They are both very good waitresses, always wait on us and know about gluten free safe handling practices. I've been eating here for many years and highly recommend Toscana for fellow Celiacs.
