The owner of this place is horrible. The food is average at best, and they don't care about the safety of guests or staff.

I have a food allergy (wheat reacts the same way to my skin as poison ivy), developed a rash and had difficulty breathing shortly after eating carry out from here. Not sure of the food safety because of this. Otherwise, the food tasted good and menu had a lot of GF options. This establishment might be better suited for someone with less severe reactions

I love the food there. It used to be my go-to when I was first diagnosed but the last 2 or 3 times I went there I got glutened. The last time was pretty bad. I no longer go there but the gluten free food is very good if you can handle cross-contamination.

Truffle fries. Gluten free. Fryer gluten free. Good taste. Could have been a little crispier. But still very good.
Chicken chili nachos. Gluten free fried chips and tons of toppings including guacamole, cheese, vegan chili, beans, chicken, pico de Gallo and I’m sure I’m forgetting something. But super delicious
Baked Chicken Tenders- Cashew Crusted, Sweet Potato Chips and Sriracha Aioli. Doesn’t matter if they weren’t fried still crispy. So good and decently spicy.
Chipotle Sweet Potato Skins- Chipotle shredded rotisserie chicken, organic spinach, bacon and tangy sumac aioli. I was not expecting them to be as fantastic as they were. I wanted another plate.

I will preface this by saying - I love townhall! I love their food. I live across the street and was eating there pretty consistently since they are one of the only places in Cleveland to get gluten free fare. I have to eat strictly gluten free for health reasons. Lately, after eating there quite a bit, I was not feeling well consistently and have health issues associated with ingesting gluten. This was the only restaurant I was eating at consistently so I got out my Nima and tested two items of theirs that we had ordered - a gluten free pizza and a gluten free Thai noodle bowl - both, when ordered I indicated I had an allergy to gluten. Sadly, both immediately tested with “gluten found” on the Nima sensor. I contacted the restaurant via email (have not heard back) and then via FB message - someone did respond to that and said they were looking into it and asked if they could have a call with me about it. I replied yes, but have not heard back (in about a week). I know they do have some non gluten free items but the majority of their food is gluten free - and it should be relatively easy to protect against cross contamination with some education. I still think it’s a fabulous place - but those with celiac and other serious issues should test their food or think twice before assuming it is safe, unfortunately. I really hope they look into this and implement some new measures so that the food is truly safe for those with allergies.

I have celiac and a BAD dairy allergy.

I left two restaurants in a row and finally landed at this gem! The staff is well educated. The food was amazing! I got a classic breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and GF biscuit with two different spreads. When I got my food, I thought the portion seemed a bit skimpy at first but oh my goodness was it filling!! We had food left over! The bacon is amazing. Well worth it and I CANNOT wait to visit again. Finally a restaurant devoted to my allergy needs!

Every single staff member I talked to knew their shit! Amazing celiac friendly restaurant/bar. Open doors, fun atmosphere, food was plant based, whole, and delicious. MUST SEE in Cleveland - we stopped by on a road trip and was not disappointed. Got the mashed avos (spicy kick), veggie burger(black bean), and truffle fries. Almost everything is gf and they take great caution to prepare separately. Dedicated fryer. I’ll be back fo sho.

Menu is clearly marked, and an added bonus is that everything is non-gmo. I had the paleo buffalo chicken tenders which were so flavorful, and the cheeseburger with the Keto bun (GF). I really enjoyed the burger and the fries were tasty. I was in town for a conference and decided to go back the next day for Sunday brunch. I had the paleo coconut pancakes, they were so good. I also had the gluten free chocolate cookie to-go and it was the softest GF cookie I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place. I felt safe eating here even though it was super busy.

Okay, so I ha dread the reviews on here and was super excited to try it. I ordered the sorghum burger sub GF bun. Then I asked if they had a dedicated fryer, because I really wanted those truffle fries. The gal said "no, but the gluten burns off, so it's okay". At this point, I almost just left. I asked her about the chips and pico. She said "I think they're gluten free. They're tortilla chips". I asked "are they corn or flour? Are they baked or fried?" the other attendant said they are corn. First gal said "Um, I guess I can ask if they are baked or fried" with some mild irritation. So I ordered the grain free tabbouleh because I was about done at this point. I will say the food was delicious and thank goodness I didn't get sick, but that particular individual was not knowledgeable at all. When I ordered the GF bun she asked "okay do you have any dietary restrictions?" and I replied "yes, I have Celiac, my food had to be strictly gluten free" and she said "uhm.... Okay". I was surprised because this place is designed for different diets and restrictions (vegan, GF, paleo, keto) so I'm not sure if this is a new staff member? It honestly was pretty unsettling, but luckily the prep staff seems to know what they are doing.

Any place with a dedicated dryer is a huge hit with my son, who has Celiac Disease. This restaurant had that and more. He had so many GF choices, but settled on a delicious burger and fries. The atmosphere was fun and the staff sensitive to our GF needs and questions regarding cross contamination. If we lived nearby, we would be frequent customers!!!

There is a great selection of gluten free here. The only down side is that they are only opened until 2:30, and the parking is a bitch since it's downtown.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, they are open late. We went on paleo night and it was really good. We were fairly happy with what we ordered. We would definitely return.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food was out of this world delicious. 90% of the menu is naturally gluten free and what isn’t can be slightly tweaked to be gluten free for most of the rest of the things. Able to get stuff that is fried as well. You could say dedicated fryer but it doesn’t need to be because everything that is fried is gluten free. So good I went back a second day. 2 days in a row I think that states how well I liked the food.

Oh my... I live over 2 hours away but will go out of my way to eat here. I had the GF Korean Bbq flatbread. It was insanely good to the point I was worried it wasn't actually GF. My wife who isn't GF kept eating it. it's that good. great service, lively atmosphere, not a romantic place, more of a sports bar vibe that serves healthy food. All ages and types in here, very eclectic mix. Great place to ear if u are in Cleveland.

I'm sure it's all been said as far as food and juices. I didn't get sick and food was great and reasonably priced. Service satisfactory and waitstaff friendly. We sat on the patio close to the back interior of restaurant with large glass doors open. I was a bit put off by the stale beer smell wafting out over our table. Seems like they could figure out a solution. I couldn't eat inside with that odor and it's not a quiet place inside, much bouncing noise. So if you smell or noise sensitive get food to go.

Most difficult thing about coming here was choosing what to eat. Chose street tacos with chicken tinga and truffle fries. Both were excellent, but just as an FYI the chicken tinga is pretty spicy. Had the vegan/gluten free chocolate brownie sundae. It was to die for! My husband and I split it and it was more than enough for us. My husband is not gluten free and loved the sundae and said you could not tell it was gluten free. Reasonable prices. Love finding unique and delicious and safe food when traveling:). Will definitely cone here again when in Cleveland!

I was visiting Cleveland on business and found TownHall using this app. Find Me GF has never steered me wrong and this time was no different. The food was delicious; I was able to get a gf flatbread while my husband was happy with his grass-fed burger. There is plenty to choose from whether you are gf or not.

Amazing restaurant owned by a man who is incredibly sensitive to allergens and diets. We went on vegan night which was perfect for my friend and I was blown away by the number of GF options on the menu. Everything is clearly marked for GF, Vegan, Veg, Paleo, and also availability for any of the dishes to be modified into one of those specifications. Staff was incredibly knowledgable, and our server asked at the before we even ordered if there were any dietary considerations. Will absolutely be going back.

Many many gluten free options here!!

We went later for dinner (about 8 pm) as we were traveling and didn't manage a diner stop until then, and at that time in the evening there was very loud music playing and it was not a good choice for my 11-year-old daughter who felt overwhelmed by the loud environment, and then upset over no familiar food names.

The staff was amazing though and overall the food was very good. I would go back again but I wouldn't take the kids.

There are also usually seats on the cafe side! And they have a variety of types of foods so everyone can find something they like here! I think the place may also be organic and non GMO too.

We visited on a very busy day. Even though the menu said gluten free for all that was ordered, our family member with celiac became ill. He had eaten a flatbread. Be careful, especially if they are busy. We were very disappointed.

I'm quite new to the gluten free diet - new enough that the thought of going out to eat is pretty intimidating. When I looked at TownHall's menu online the night before going there, I nearly cried. They had probably 80% or more of the dishes on their menu individually listed as gluten free or gluten free available. When I went there, they had 4 gluten free options on the beer list, clearly labeled, and when I ordered my food, before I could even inform my server that my meal needed to be gluten free, she asked if I had any allergies. The food was great, very healthy, non-GMO, and they also had paleo and vegan options. Definitely an awesome location that really caters to people who are strict with their diets. It does tend to be noisy and busy, though.
