Firstly, understand that this is a cocktail bar with a kitchen window that you order from for yourself. The menu is simple and fresh, the food is created with love, and you can taste it in every bite. There is a small appetizer list that offers smoked jumbo peel and eat shrimp which were amazing. Also, I was starving…but my boyfriend agreed that they were scrumptious. You choose a fresh catch from the board, as a sauce and a side and a preparation method. I chose the plate, there other option was a salad and I’ve eaten salads the past few days. Can I tell you that the sauces are outta this world! Kale chimichurri sauce? YES PLEASE! Pineapple slaw pretty much rocks the house too. Boyfriend got the fish sandwich, but no GF buns yet. It’s a fairly new establishment, yet when I prefaced my order with ‘this needs to be all GF’ the guy on the side of the window nodded as if he understood and then confirmed after I placed my order that all of my choices were indeed gluten free. So I do believe that they know and understand what it means to be GF.
