So sick 30 min after eating here, as is usually the case with me after eating gluten. The menu was marked gf, I told my server the following: “I have a severe allergy to gluten. It is celiac disease. Please order my food with an allergy ticket”. I had no problem eating at this chain in another state. I for sure will never be back.
This was one of my favorite restaurants before being gluten free. I was so excited to be able to continue to eat here. There are so many GF options. Sadly the last three times I’ve eaten here, I’ve had GF bowls, and definitely been glutened. I’m perplexed because they seem to be extremely knowledgeable and take precautions. I may try again but only with a NIMA.
I have been here numerous times with no issues! I have gluten (not Celiac) and dairy allergies. Staff is always super accommodating, kind and the food is AMAZING, fresh, delicious! It's my go to request for special occasions! 😊
Is it just me? Have been here twice in the last week, with I’ll effects both times. First time I thought my gastritis was acting up because their reputation is good; tonight, 10 minutes after I left I was bloated and miserable. Had bowls which are listed as naturally gluten free both times. I seem to have bad luck with restaurants at Oak Brook Mall in general.
Really good about allergies. I told them I had Celiacs and the server and kitchen were notified. My food was brought out separate and they stated the accommodations they made before handing me my food to double check. A good amount of gluten free options but options that are not gluten free are able to be modified and made so. Only downside was we had a party of 9 and 5 of the parties orders were made wrong.
Gave them four stars because they had to remake my gluten free, butternut squash w/ vegan almond ricotta cheese pizza. (First order came with carmelized onions which I had asked to omit). Very tasty pizza. Slow service.
Peak food, I got the True Crispd chicken and it was fire, absolutely rizzed, the people there were super nice (btw the awesome sauce tastes like canes according to my family) the cheesy Mac-and-cheese was very very sigma and this place was allergy friendly with things labeled on the menu 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 peak, would eat here again/would recommend
I know everyone else has had a great experience here so maybe they were just having an off day or maybe it was because I did take out, but I had a mild reaction which means it was cc. I had the GF chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes. Mild enough reaction that I know it was cc only but annoying enough I wouldn’t chance it again.
