Our recent visit to True Food Kitchen was exceptional, especially considering our need for celiac-friendly options for my son. We dined on a bustling Friday evening at 7 with our 3 and 6-year-olds. Although the guacamole platter was unavailable, the staff promptly substituted it with a hummus platter featuring gluten-free pita, which the boys adored.
We ordered the OG refresher, two gluten-free pizzas, the panang curry, and the Thai bowl. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary birthday scoop of ice cream and cookie, along with the most decadent gluten-free chocolate cake. Holy moly, it was delicious!
The service was outstanding, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Most importantly, my son had no adverse reactions to the food. The insanely delicious dishes and amazing service ensure that we will absolutely be back!
So many Gluten Free choices!! They immediately ask if there are any allergies/ food restrictions at the table and go over their process. They change their gloves, have a separate prep station, and the manager brings out the meals to let us know they were prepared properly with our restrictions. I have celiac and my daughter is allergic to dairy, our waiter knew exactly what would be safe for both of us. The food was absolutely amazing and neither of us got sick. We’ll definitely be back.
Loved the food! Tons of GF options. Many are vegan/dairy free. The food was amazing! Some dishes had a nice kick. So, if you don't like spicy, ask your server. Our table had the tuna wraps, flat iron steak, bison GF pizza, & a Thai curry inspired bowl with added flat iron steak. Everything was delicious! Very high quality food at decent prices. Our server was also very nice. I can't wait to go back!
Very few GF options. We went based on previous reviews and after checking their menu thought we’d give it a try. The seasonal menu we were given had very few GF options. When I realized that there wasn’t anything that I’d like I apologized and tried to explain the situation to the server so she’d know why we were leaving. She was RUDE. Won’t be going back no matter what menu they have.
Surprising for a ‘chain’ restaurant! The chef spoke with us and we talked about their gluten free ingredients - he definitely knew his stuff. I loved the Lasagna Bolognese and the Flourless Chocolate Cake. Filling but still in a healthier presentation. Great cocktails too.
Many GF options on menu. My server actually had Celiac and said she eats there with no problem, and that they have allergen cross contamination training, so just mention celiac/'gluten allergy' when you order. She said there were only a couple of things on the menu that couldn't be made gluten free. Fine print on menu said GF = "gluten friendly" so I was concerned until I talked to server. I guess it's just how they label their Gluten Free stuff?
I had a wonderful experience dining at True Food Kitchen, especially considering my dietary restrictions. From the moment I sat down, I was impressed with how every item on the menu was clearly marked with allergy information, including the dessert options!
Our server was incredibly kind and helpful, offering fantastic recommendations tailored to my needs. He made sure to explain everything on the menu. The manager even came out to personally deliver my food.
I got for the air-fried gluten-free chicken tenders, which were absolutely delicious! They had a great crunch and went perfectly with the sweet potato hash. For dessert, we had the chocolate peanut butter tart, and it was like biting into a giant Reese's peanut butter cup!
Overall, the experience was top-notch. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and I felt truly cared for in terms of my dietary needs. I’ll definitely be returning to True Food Kitchen again soon!
I tried the gluten free chicken tenders and it was not good. They were cold, the breading didn’t taste good and you could tell there was no care put into it. Overall this gluten free menu lacks flavor and touch.
