Food we had was quite good. Non-gf pizza was great. GF bowl (Thai noodle) was fine but not exceptional. No contamination issues.

We have a celiac kiddo & came for the GF pizza. Learned the GF pizza is cooked in same oven, although gloves are changed. Although prior reviews suggest it’s ok, the manager suggested we avoid it if we have high sensitivity. Bowls and other items were ok, but our kiddo wasn’t very happy.

I was really disappointed here, my food wasn’t great and my choices as a celiac were honestly pretty limited. Lots of “gluten friendly” but if you take out pizzas, noodles, and anything that has high cross contamination risks, you’re not left with much. I got the seasonal harvest salad which again was just okay, the chicken was DRY - like the precut strips you’d buy from the frozen section at a grocery store.

Do NOT eat at True Food Kitchen if you are Celiac or have a severe allergy to wheat or gluten. I was glutened twice at this establishment. Once at the TFK in Stanford, CA and recently at the one in Naples, FL. I have a rule of thumb of asking three times about gluten free items. I start the conversation as soon as I'm seated, when I order and again when the food is brought to the table. I was assured each time by each server who served us that the kitchen would/had accommodate(d) my gluten and dairy allergies. I ordered the Korean Noodle Bowl. Within an hour I was deathly ill and am just now recuperating after four weeks. I'm guessing the noodles were cooked in cross contaminated water or the soy sauce wasn't gluten free. I wrote to TFK and their response was less than stellar. I highly encourage Celiacs to eat elsewhere so that you don't get sick.

Wait staff was very knowledgeable and brought my food to the table and ensured me they used all separate cutting boards, etc and changed gloves.

The food delicious and very well marked! I had the poke bowl and it was delicious. Note: the pizza is cooked in the same wood stove as the gluten pizza. It’s on a separate tray though.

My daughter (with Celiac disease) enjoyed her dinner here. She initially ordered the tomato mozzarella pizza, but after about 30 mins, the waitress came out and said they ran out of GF dough. She ended up ordering the Korean Beef, which was a little spicy but she really enjoyed it. The manager came out to deliver the food and confirmed that it was GF before placing it down, which is always reassuring. A little bit of a long wait for our dinners (over 1 hour) but overall a good meal.

Great food & they are extremely allergy friendly. I’m gluten, dairy, soy, & egg free & they can change any dish to meet your needs. I’m Celiac & it’s so hard to find a safe place to eat.

Menu is very well marked in terms of what is “gluten friendly” and all you need to do is ask for a gluten free preparation. The food is good although a little on the expensive side for what you receive. I feel really safe eating here though which is great.

Updating to add that we have been here several times now and have never had an issue. Their fall seasonal menu is out now with lots of gluten free options.
Knowledgeable staff and they have gluten free items marked on the menu. Even the kids menu has a marked gluten free option (a kids chicken teriyaki bowl). They do have gluten free pizza crusts and buns available as well. Some of our favorites are the Good Earth Kale Cobb Salad and the Steak Tacos. Their menu is on their website and shows all of the GF options so you can look before you go as well. We enjoy eating here.

Fantastic gluten free and delicious done so easy great service
Staff knowledgeable about gf...not a ton of selections, but enough and good choices. The server was pretentious and acted like we wouldn’t know what the food was “hoped we were ready to eat intentionally and healthfully”. Would definitely go back. Gf labeled on the menu.
Yes
Food was great and there were TONS of options. Having said that, it’s not a dedicated GF facility but when I tested the chicken and my salad it was gluten free so I’m impressed.
Yes
Not impressed. Expensive and food was just ok.
Many many gf choices! All staff very aware of celiac issues. Gf pizza crust and pita available but you have to ask---not noted on the menu. Charred cauliflower is amazing and the flourless chocolate cake is the best I've ever had. Very popular restaurant and can get loud. Reservations a must during season.
Yes
The food was amazing. For a family with all kinds of food allergies, it was nice to find a place where we could enjoy great food and lots of options. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was friendly.

The food is delicious and they have a lot of GF options, all clearly marked on the menu. I’ve eaten here many times before with no problems. This is the first time I’ve ordered something that wasn’t already 100% GF, a sandwich with a “gluten friendly” bun. They accidentally brought my sandwich on a wheat bun. Fortunately I asked to confirm before touching it. They made me a new sandwich (my husband could see the kitchen from his seat) and comped our dessert, but that could have been a disaster.
