Tsunami Sushi

My recent experience has been very hit or miss. First time back since being diagnosed the waiter knew gf options and asked the kitchen about anything he was unsure of. He also asked me what I liked and what I didn’t like and was like I will put together a fabulous roll for you if you’re into that and it was fabulous!!!! Second time, my waitress had no clue but pointed me to the gluten free menu (online, pretty limited sushi wise) but she was willing to ask the kitchen questions and brought out tamari. Third time, the waiter handed me the cheat sheet card the staff is given and I had salmon avocado cucumber roll which was great. He was very friendly and asked about anything.

So overall the staff is helpful and you have options to create your own raw fish and veggie rolls. I have to say umami is better about saying they will simply change any roll to be gf which gives greater variety but Tsunami is still great—just a bit more limited!

These reviews are outdated. Based on my experience, the staff is not knowledgeable and it is not safe to eat here. I visited this restaurant and only ate edamame because their gluten free menu was very unclear.

Great sushi, great view, well informed staff, gluten free menu, tasty drinks—excellent! Nice happy hour deals, too.

Separate gluten free menu with several sushi options. Server was knowledgeable and was willing to ask if he wasn’t certain it was safe.

Dedicated gluten-free menu and servers were very knowledgeable. Excellent sushi.
