Their menu can change with the seasons. I found that out the hard way. Regardless they have a decent selection of GF options clearly marked. I ordered a chicken sandwich on GF bun. It came out with all the sauce under the bun. If you know GF buns, they’re a sponge and they start to disintegrate rapidly. The bottom bun was completely soaked through and already falling apart on my first bite. They brought me another bun very slightly toasted with the top bun still partly frozen. Then I had no sauce for the sandwich. It was unappetizing. I couldn’t eat it. The waitress didn’t come back for 15 minutes. They comped half my sandwich which I appreciate. I’d recommend requesting your sauce on the side in a ramekin so your bun isn’t ruined.
Both daughters were diagnosed with Celiac Disease four months ago and have really had a hard time navigating eating out with them. This was BY FAR our best experience at a restaurant. Dedicated fryer, gluten free buns, etc. Food was fantastic too. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate this!
I used to recommend this place to everyone. The chef is fantastic. However, it has changed ownership and they could care less about safety practices anymore. It used to be one of our only good places. But I have gotten painfully sick the last 3 times visiting. Also make sure you keep a watch your bill-just saying. No longer a good place for allergy friendliness. Very sad.
My husband is very sensitive to gluten as he's allergic to wheat. He ordered a cheese burger with a gluten free bun and fries that were cooked in a separate fryer. Most all menu items are either gluten free or can be made gluten free. Both of our meals were great and we would highly recommend!
Food was excellent! Ordered the pork nachos and firecracker shrimp for an appetizer and yum!🤌🏼For my main meal, I ordered Tex-Mex Fajitas and they were amazing. Most of the main courses come with a side of nachos and they are delicious. Felt just fine after eating there but make sure you tell your server it is for Celiac. Mention that you need all of your chips in the seperate fryer and if you get the flatbread mention you need everything seperate as well. Staff is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what needs to happen. My biggest concern is just to make sure your chips are cooked in the gluten free fryer.
We were in town visiting family and found this restaurant. The menu has items clearly marked that can be made Gluten free, vegan, etc. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a dedicated gluten free fryer for chips and French fries. I ordered the gluten free nachos with pork belly for dinner. The other three with me didn't have any dietary restrictions and ordered: tex-mex chicken fajitas, candied chicken sandwich with fries, margarita flatbread. Both people loved their candied chicken and flatbread had great flavor. The person with the fajitas thought there could have been more chicken but the flavors were good and there were fresh jalapeños. I really enjoyed the flavor between the nachos with the bbq pork. Definately can be shared. Took some left overs home. Had no reactions.
The chef came to the table to ensure he hold GF to a high standard. He will modify anything as well.
Awesome food! Fresh tortilla chips are cooked in a seperate fryer - yes, you can safely eat chips and quac! Our server was super friendly, very knowledgable, and even offered to have the chef come answer questions if I wanted. I ordered the steak tacos - absolutely delicious! Food was safely prepared - no issues 12 hours later. Beautiful patio with live music. One downside, despite being a brewery, there were no GF beers on the menu, but they did have a seltzer and cider that were safe. Nevertheless, an amazing experience all around!
Rosa was amazing!!! We had a very large party, and she accommodating right away. Two in out party of 20+ have celiac. Everyone’s food was very good! Celiac kids ate a pizza, and a pork tacos and loved them. I waited hours before writing this. They are still safe and no stomach pain. The chef came out and explaining how they have separate areas! He was very knowledgeable 😌
Delicious tacos. Also have gluten free buns available for the burgers, and you can get a cauliflower crust for the flat bread pizzas. Did not ask about cross contamination procedures, but the food was delicious. Also got a hard cider drink that was labeled gluten free and was so good!!
