Visited for brunch and had the Chesapeake omelette - very good. They do have gluten free bread. I was able to substitute the regular toast with GF toast.
They still have gluten free bread, but they said that’s the extent of their gluten free offerings. Waiter was rude. I tried a sandwich on gf bread against my best judgement, but it got cross contaminated somehow. Also saw a cockroach on the wall.
They have a gluten free sign on their window. When we sat down, the waiter said “we don’t do that anymore.” I decided to still stay and eat since it looked like a lot of the menu was naturally gluten free. When it was my turn to order, I had a few questions. Even though it didn’t answer my questions, the waiter replied curtly by saying, “we don’t do gluten free anymore.” I told him to forget it and that I didn’t need anything. He misheard me I guess and ordered me something I didn’t want and didn’t order. When he recited the group order back a few minutes later, I had to tell him again I did not want any food. He was very rude. Won’t be going back. Also, take down the gluten-free sign if you are not even going to accommodate questions about menu ingredients.
I got the gluten free pancakes with blueberries and it was also dairy/egg free. Very fluffy! Enjoyed my meal fine.
Their brunch was really good, and they can make gluten free pancakes! I think their pancakes are way better than Miss Shirley's.
Great place for brunch and they have gluten free toast you can get!
