I am incredibly sensitive and did not get sick at all. They had a mix up with sending the wrong pizza, but I opened up the box and they realized they brought the non-gluten free pizza. Within 5 minutes, my gf pizza was delivered and it was delicious!
Really good, had to go a second time!
The pizza is very delicious! It is quite treat :)
Great gf pizza! I ordered medium CBGB or chicken, basil pesto, garlic, and broccoli and it was delicious. They said that they could make any of their pizzas gluten free, and made mine very quickly. Overall, a great find!
great range of GF pizza A bit expensive, but delicious. No reactions - awesome!
I ordered a 10" glutenfree mushroom pizza here and it was very delicious and I haven't had any glutening problems. Would recommend anytime.
I was scared to eat here since it’s a tiny place but after reading all the other reviews, I did. I didn’t fall sick. The staff wasn’t very communicative about how they avoid cross-contamination but when I asked me they said the gluten-free pizzas are done separately. This wasn’t the best gluten-free pizza I’ve had in New York but it was decent.
Perfectly safe pizza with lots of fun toppings. I ordered a small to split with my 5 year old and I wish I'd gotten a large! It's a thin crust and ours was slightly over cooked. I'm assuming that with all the great reviews they were just having an off night, but we never got sick, so they're worth another visit and a recommendation for sure!
The place looks like a little hole in the wall, but the pizza was definitely worth it. With pizza on every corner here in NY, my gluten sensitive daughter was desperate to find one she could enjoy. She said this pizza was excellent. You could even pickup the pepperoni pizza and it wasn't soggy. The crust tasted great and had a cracker like crunch. We got it to go and ate it back at the hotel.
We love Two Boots! I grab a gluten free Newman pizza here about once every other week and I've never gotten sick eating here. The pizza is great and the dough doesn't taste like sandy garbage or chewy cardboard. It's actually really decent. It even reheats well the next day. One of my absolute go-to places by my house.
Some of the best pizza with the most unique combinations I've ever tried. The gluten free crust is delicious and you cannot tell its gluten free. We had the Mr. Pink which was a tad spicy but very good. You have the option to build your own pizza or pick a pre made in medium or large. Only about three toppings are unavailable as they contain gluten. The crust was thin and crisp. My daughter who is highly allergic did not get sick either time we ate here. The staff was very knowledgeable.
best gluten free pizza i've found anywhere! my yelp review: their gluten free pizza crust is the best i've found anywhere! it's really good! slightly crispy and thin. it isn't like wheat-based thin crust so don't try to make that comparison. it's gluten free!!! (i choose to avoid gluten i don't have to avoid gluten so i didn't quiz them about cross contamination prevention techniques.) if you're looking for mainstream toppings you might be disappointed but if you're ready for something new and different two boots offers some really interesting stuff - and a huge variety. i'm a meat lover so i barely glanced at the veggie side of the menu but vegetarians and vegans should find some appealing options too. i ordered 2 pizzas (both with gluten free crust)...the dude with spinach and mushrooms added and the cleopatra jones with basil added. we all tried some of both and were VERY happy with our meal. the flavor combinations were fab (with the additions - i suspect we would have been less pleased with the pizzas straight off the menu). i did slightly miss the traditional red tomato-based pizza sauce that i've had on every pizza i'd ever eaten previously but firmly believe that if i'd had them use it the (fantistic) subtle flavors of the toppings would have been lost. the only tiny bit of negative feedback is that i'd have preferred if the red onion on the c. jones were cooked a bit before being put on the unbaked pie. it was basically raw on the finished pizza and i'm not crazy about raw onions, especially red ones. this barely made a dent on my overall enjoyment! a note about delivery - bottom line: i was told on the phone that you should plan for it to take about an hour. (the apt where i'm staying is probably a 10-minute drive from two boots.) i ordered on the twoboots.com website (and they use a cool service called chow now) and was shocked at the end of the ordering process when the app estimated delivery in 2 hours!!! it was a tuesday! (tho rainy.) so i called and the person who answered said yeah it could take that long but it was possible it would only be an hour (which turned out to be true). yunno how you feel when you read through menu options and you're SO ready for whatever you've selected? so with fingers crossed i hoped for "only" an hour for delivery. i've become spoiled by faster pizza and other delivery so be ready for this!
Phenomenal gluten-free pizza. Really understand the intricacies of avoiding cross-contamination and are working hard to make sure their offerings are safe for those with a variety of allergies/sensitivities/special diets. I got the "V for Vegan" pizza w/o Daiya which features non-dairy pesto, a real treat. The crust is unlike any gluten-free pizza crust I've had so far (in a good way) and the pizza was downright delicious without breaking the bank.
