My partner is celiac and had a reaction. We were very careful to put plenty of "customer has celiac disease, please take care to avoid gluten cross contamination" notes on every item in Uber Eats, even though we'd ordered from there before and been fine. Sucks to have to remove them from our "safe list", a gluten-free fryer is a rare treasure.

Looking back at two previous reviews, I'm going to have to agree that this isnt the place for people who are either very sensitive to cross contamination and/or severe celiacs. While I didn't get a full-on-glutened reaction, I was Ill for a few days following what I'm certain was a cross contamination reaction. They put gf and normal buns on the same grill and the guy working at the time I came in was pretty dismissive of my concerns. He said " well we wipe it down idk what to tell you but we've never had someone have an issue " Which looking here now flat out isnt true and I also saw the guy place it on the prep table to put the lettuce etc on which I kind of doubt is wiped off between. I should have been more thorough with my questions but well.. you all know how futile it feels when they act like you're asking if its vegan rather than if it contains the (fairly common allergen) that can induce a severe allergic reaction. You wont know if I have to go to the er until I leave and have the food and wait 30 ish minutes like ? ? ? But nah I'm sure "no one has ever had a reaction" is totally legit 👌

I am a sensitive celiac and have not had any reactions here, and I eat here frequently! ALL fried food are GF, and most of the menu can be made GF. I usually order delivery without issue, and their food is always solid if you’re looking for some greasy comfort food.

The buns are incredible! Buttery, soft, moist yumminess that actually added to the already great burgers. Everything that goes in the fryer is gluten free, despite the lack of consistent labeling if you order online. The onion rings were a treat
Enjoyed a GF burger and fries. No reaction... although watching the cooks working so fast on a shared grill made us worry.
Caveat... Definitely not for the =super sensitive=. No reaction... but my guess is that some amount of cross contamination is happening on the grill, where gf buns and glutenous buns are toasted on the same surface. Not sure about their non GF veggie patties? Could be some cross contamination there as well...
But only GF stuff in the fryer for sure.
They might be able to cook your burger in a separate pan if you are paranoid? Don’t know... didn’t ask.

I live just a couple streets down from this place and eat there probably once a month. Gluten free burger bun is good and I’ve never had a reaction.
We live nearby and eat here all the time. My partner (celiac) has never gotten sick & they’re also great about my (non-gluten) food allergies.

I have Celiac disease. Ate here and had one of the best burgers in a long time, also had some onion rings. Unfortunately, I got very sick within an hour and then over the course of the next 3 days.
I asked the server about the prep, the dedicated fryer, told him I had Celiac and had to be very careful, everything, and he was very confident in his answers but clearly, he/they do not understand the severity of Celiac disease vs people just wanting to avoid gluten. This was during a weekday night and they were not busy either. Was very disappointed as this burger was phenomenal. Celiac people please avoid this place.

They cannot guarantee that burgers will be gluten free. What good is a dedicated fryer if you can't eat the meat?
This place is amazing! Gluten-free bun for my burger was fantastic. Onion rings, delish. There are also GF corn dogs and fried cheese curds on the menu, a GF vegetarian avocado sandwich. Lots of beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages choices. Desserts. Family friendly.
