This place was really hectic and you feel rushed to order because there is a line out the door and they are trying to get through it (not their fault, they are trying to keep customers happy and get them in and out quickly). When you need to ask questions it is somewhat stressful though with the rush. The ice cream was just ok. Kind of freezer burned but my non GF family liked it. I liked Holy Cow much better! It was soft and fresh however there is cross contamination there and they are very nice and honest and will answer any questions you have!
They have a separate gluten free menu if you ask, but there is cross contamination of the ice cream. They said they can sanitize the scooper but when asked if they had already dipped scoopers in the ice cream that would be contaminated they said yes. I asked if they could accommodate by getting the gf ice cream from a brand new container and they said no. So no ice cream, not safe for celiacs.
Delicious ice cream and a gluten free ice cream menu which makes it super easy to order. Had the peanut butter fudge and husband had butter pecan. Delicious. Also has candy and other things.
So when a place is not safe for Celiacs should it come off of this list?
