Every time we come down for vacation we eat here a few times. The gf pizza is amazing! The crust is thick and not like any other gf crust.
I am sooooo sensitive to gluten. Will have rash and very sick within 30 minutes with even a tiny contamination…..
I ordered gf pizza online. Then called and explained that the order was an allergy and not a preference. They took extra precautions and made sure was cooked separate 🥰
Did NOT get sick and was awesome homemade thick pizza. Absolutely awesome! 🥳👌
Best Gluten Free Pizza I’ve had! For real seemed like “normal” pizza. Loved finally having a thicker crust again. I am not celiac so I cannot say regarding ultra sensitivity but I have reacted to bad cross-contamination on occasion and no problems after eating this pizza.
Called ahead to ask if they would prevent cross contamination and the owner, who is also the chef, said he is very aware of Gluten contamination and was more than happy to use separate utensils, prep areas and pans! It has been years since I had a hand made pizza and this one was delicious!
I did not mention Celiac’s/allergy to my waitress as she was the only one working there and I did not want to add additional stress to her day. I am not diagnosed Celiac, but it runs in my family. If I get contaminated, I usually have pretty intense instant symptoms, and I did not get sick. However, because I didn’t ask and don’t know their procedures, I can’t say it’s Celiac safe. They do have salads, though, which were good, too!! I had the pepperoni/sausage on a GF crust with a house salad and it was probably the best pizza meal I’ve had since I went GF. The waitress was amazing despite being so busy and alone.
Best Gluten-free pizza around! Pizza crust was crispy more like a pan pizza. If my family had not gotten normal pizza w gluten I might have questioned if mine was really GF! It was so good and family thought theirs was really good too! I do not have celiacs but I am super sensitive to gluten. I did not have any problems.
The best GF pizza! I am somewhat sensitive but not celiac. I did not have any issues.
Delicious gluten free, vegan pizza! First time was no problem. Second time was take out and discovered that my crust was regular but daughter's was gf. I ordered 2 gluten free, vegan pizzas at the exact same time. Not sure what went wrong but I called and messaged them with no response.
The staff was very friendly in fielding my questions about cross-contamination. Unfortunately, the gf pizzas are assembled in the same area as regular pizzas with toppings being shared. They are baked on the same conveyor belt using the same trays which aren’t washed between bakings. I’m happy for those who have successfully eaten there without a reaction, but if you have Celiac I caution you against eating here.
Coming from Richmond, VA, where there are very few pizza places that offer gluten-free crusts and even fewer places that take Celiac disease seriously, this place blew my girlfriend and I away! The gluten-free pizza was the first we've ordered that wasn't a super thin crust, our waitress Jennifer made sure the kitchen staff knew ahead of time to prepare for a gluten free order to avoid cross contamination, and she continued to check with the kitchen throughout the process to make sure everything was handled safely and correctly! Jennifer kept our drinks filled, had some fun conversation with us, and really made us feel like priority customers. We will definitely be coming back next year, our only complaint is that there isn't a location back home for us to go to!
just when i thought pizza couldn’t taste better gluten free they blew it outta the park. we’re on vacation here & my mom and i both have allergies and hers is more severe then me. we both were thrilled with our food. service was slow but to have a pizza like that was totally worth it.
Had amazing service here!! Also hands down the best gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. And I eat lot of pizza. They just added stuffed mushrooms on the menu and the manager came out and talked to me about whether they were gluten free or not. (they are and crazy delicious). Had no issues afterward. I highly recommend!!
The cauliflower crusts are cooked directly on the rack since they are frozen. (At the time of visiting they were out of the GF dough) Can't vouch for the GF crust. Shared oven, and when asked if they used separate utensils they said the products are gluten free but it's for dietary restrictions not allergies.
