Recommend. Staff was very conscientious of my gluten allergy. Wiped area down. Changed gloves. Operated in a gluten free prep area with toppings for gf selections kept separate for those with gluten allergies. You do need to let them know if gf allergy specific. Otherwise, you'll just get a gluten free crust or cauliflower crust but they won't take the same precautions. They also have a gf brownie. I've eaten here several times and have not had any issues. I can tell right away if I've been glutened.
I am a little unsure about this place. I have eaten here twice, once where I didn’t get sick and once where I did. They offer lots of gluten free options (even cheesy bread!) and even allow you to mark your allergy when ordering online which is something a lot of establishments don’t do. I will say the time the I got sick my boyfriend ordered a pizza with meatballs (which are NOT GF!) and that could have been a contributor (although I didn’t eat his) or even just the staff working that day. Either way, their food is delicious and if you feel comfortable or have a sensitivity/intolerance you will be fine! I will probably steer clear for now unless I feel comfortable again.
We’re traveling through Tallahassee and needed somewhere safe for our celiac daughter to eat. We chose here from the reviews. When we walked in we asked about gluten free and the man behind the counter said yes. But stated that ingredients were pulled from the same bin as non gf and there was flour allllll over the counter. We chose not to eat here due cross contamination. Prep area was very dirty.
Great toppings choices. Reasonable prices. Crust is the frozen kind, but when you’re traveling through and want pizza, it’s a nice option.
The staff was so accommodating to allergies and preferences. The pizza was the best gluten-free pizza I have had and the toppings tasted fresh and good quality. I especially liked that you could see them prepping the pizza yourself.
In theory, their GF pizza plan might work, but in reality, the are just to many chances of cross contamination. They use the same pizza pans the regular crusts are baked on and only scrape them instead of scrubbing them or having a separate GF pan. The guy slicing the pizza uses the same tray and blade on every pizza. He has no way of knowing if it's GF unless he looks at the order tag. I'd recommend this place for people with gluten intolerance, but not Celiacs. The pizzas are delicious (but not worth the risk).
Dedicated bowls of sauce and toppings on gluten free dough that doesn't taste like cardboard.
Best gluten free pizza I've had yet, and a very well trained and pleasant staff.
When we told them we needed our food to be gluten free for allergy reasons (which seems to be the phrasing most likely to be understood by restaurants), the employee immediately changed his gloves, and explained to us about how everyone on the line would be using fresh ingredients and separate utensils to keep our pizza safe for us. What a pleasure that was!
And the pizza was so good, with a thin crust that actually crunched, and really fresh tasting toppings, including the option of vegan cheese. If I lived here, I would absolutely be a regular.
I was so surprised when the server asked if I had a preference or an allergy when I ordered. When I stated allergy, she immediately changed her gloves and got my toppings from new containers. What a surprise! if I lived in the Tallahassee area, I would visit here very frequently.
Absolute fantastic experience at this pizza place, the staff was extremely knowledgeable about celiac, dairy, soy and many other allergens. The only thing for the pizza that isn’t gluten free is the meatballs. This is by far one of if not the best gluten free established I’ve ever been to and I have traveled to 10+ states all over the east coast l, exploring all the sights as well as the gluten free food options and as far as it goes this establishment is by far amongst the top 3 ever.
