Everything is delicious and they are very knowledgeable. If you are celiac don’t get gf bread because it’s shared with the toaster but there are plenty of other options. So good!

Food is okay and there are risks for contamination like bread on the same griddle. However their gf banana bread is really good!

This place was rlly good. They had lots of gf options however they kept saying how the weren’t liable against cross contamination. They did toast the bread in a fry pan instead and had many good measures. I felt great after and the food was delicious

The food was the healthiest I had on the island. However, the guy in the front said he could never garuntee that the food would be non cross-contamination. I’m not the most sensitive to gluten, and I didn’t get sick, but I would watch out if you have severe Celiac. The deserts were delicious, and had no chance of being cross-contaminated. The brownie was double thumbs up! :)

As a disclaimer they are very clear to say they do not guarantee to be gluten free. With that said, they are extremely conscience of what they are doing and I felt completely safe.

I’m definitely a carnivore, but I was extremely pleased with my meal knowing all menu items are vegetarian. Everything I had was very tasty.

Lots of options. Had the banana bread, stole some of my kids brownie and loved the house special bowl I chose.

My wife got a mock Reuben on GF bread. Cause I’m celiac and I think bread was on same toaster as non-GF bread I did not try it, but she said it was amazing.

Sampled my boys smoothie, it was unreal. Definitely recommend.

This place had many tasty dishes on the menu, most of them vegan as well as gluten-free: the chili, baked potato, smoothies and salads were fresh and delicious. The highlight was the gluten-free carrot cake! They could not guarantee no cross-contamination because they are not a gf kitchen, but for our purposes, it was a great choice and we’ll be back.

Went for breakfast and all of their items are grilled on the same grill as regular French toast, etc. We asked if anything was safe and was told they couldn’t guarantee so being celiac, decided not to risk it on vacation.

After 2 days of “making it work” at another breakfast spot I finally grabbed takeout from here then joined my family. SO glad I did. Had the GF banana bread French toast (delicious!) and the fresh local fruit (tasty). Restaurant is warm & inviting; offers excellent vegan, vegetarian, & gluten free choices. I’ll be back!

I had the deluxe vegan burger, I typically would not go for a veggie burger but this was fantastic. The menu was labeled and had lots of different options for both vegan and gluten free. A little pricey but definitely exceeded my expectations!

Staff was friendly and understood celiac and worked hard to clean surfaces, though they were also honest that it might not be perfect (this is always the case so it just made me trust them more). Small kitchen that you can watch from the counter. Banana pancakes, French toast, and home fries are all out of this world. Felt great after.

Very nice place for GF/veggie people. Everything is marked and staff was accommodating. My "bowling for veg bowl" was super yummy!

UTBT is in the shopping center near the Mauna Lani, and I'd say it's the perfect stop for a vegetarian/vegan GF lunch. They truly get GF needs. The guy who helped us, whom I took to be the owner, was really solicitous (his wife has celiac, so we commiserated about the pervasiveness of soy sauce and what a bummer it is that so many restaurants have a single fryer). He offered several options as substitutes for granola (on K1's pittaya bowl), including almonds and mac nuts. Many choices are inherently GF (e.g., my lunch, the special kabocha squash curry with zucchini and quinoa - good, though a bit spicy), and others are easily GF'able.

Everything is vegetarian, with some vegan entrees as well. The dessert case offered GF banana bread, GF black-bean brownies, and a third option that's slipping my mind right now. Great options for adult celiacs or sophisticated kids; not sure if my K2, a conservative diner, would've found anything he liked other than a smoothie, though.

Sweet little spot with a lending library with materials for all ages, Nitro coffee (mmm!), and a selection of teas and other items for sale. To help you picture it, it's about the size of a Starbucks, with a handful of tables inside and two outside. Self-service water (in Mason jars - cute!) and silverware, self-bus tables. Staff were laid-back but moved fast - our meal was ready in no time at all!

A Celiac's dream! Since being diagnosed, I was finally able to have pancakes and bread for breakfast! They have GF brownies, too! It was moist and delicious. All GF options (plenty of them) are marked on the menu, so you don't need to ask. Great food! The service is a bit slow and the waitress who took our order wasn't the friendliest, but the food was worth it.

As everyone has noted, many gf options, entirely vegetarian restaurant. Great oat bars, banana bread. We had the chili and a quinoa and mushroom salad, both delicious and super-flavorful. For this area, relatively cheap.

Lots of delicious gluten free options, including some amazing banana bread. Menus are clearly labeled and you won't feel like you're picking from only a handful of items. Prices are a little high, but they use a lot of local produce/products so that's to be expected. Service can be a little slow, but the food is worth a small wait.

This vegetarian cafe has clearly labeled gluten free and vegan dishes. Everything we tried was very tasty, including a hearty bean burger (in gf bun), great salads and an amazing gf vegan brownie. Somewhat priced for vegetarian food, but it's an expensive area and everything is locally sourced.
