Staff was very familiar with GF needs, my pancakes came out late because they noticed they were not GF. Totally appreciate that! The food itself was ok, pancakes were gummy and not a ton of choices.
Many gluten free options. I’ve eaten here many times this past year and the staff have always been knowledgeable about celiac as has the kitchen. They even have gluten free English muffins. Great food and great for gluten free
There is a gluten free menu but all items are cooked on shared space on the griddle. They will not cook separate for you.
Lots of choices! They have great pancakes, and unlike some places that just put stuff on top of the pancakes, they really make them. My daughter had cinnamon swirl pancakes that were beautiful and tasted like a cinnamon roll. I had pineapple pancakes and the loaded hash browns. Everything was super yummy, portions were large, and wait staff was very accommodating.
Best gluten free pancakes. Have to try the Hawaiian, cinnamon and the blueberry. Beth was knowledgeable & very attentive. Had a great experience. We look forward to returning.
GF eggs Benedict!! Pancakes!!! The best coffees and bloody Mary’s! Go here! It’s amazing
Gluten free options were everywhere and they were fantastic. The service was phenomenal.
Very good. Most everything can be made GF. Food was excellent. Very knowledgeable.
This place is friendly and helpful. The waitress, Beth, was very accommodating. We had the corned we'd hash and eggs Benedict, both were delicious. Best GF English muffin I have ever tasted! They also have GF pancakes.
My non celiac friends love going here. I have had a negative reaction (celiac) to the gluten free options 3 out of the 5 times I ate here. Each time I spoke to the manger to be sure the order I placed was optimally gluten free. I can not eat at Over Easy.
Cinnamon pancakes were amazing! Great service and knowledgeable about GF items
The GF pancakes were delicious. Some of the best we've had.
Server was knowledgeable, food was great!
I ordered the gluten free pancakes (which were delicious) and I had a reaction from them. Im not super sensitive either, so I would definitely say that they're not celiac friendly.
great gluten free pancakes!
Food is fantastic; however, the gf cinnamon swirl pancake must have been cross contaminated by the griddle, bc I was doubled over in pain about 45 minutes after I ate it, and running to the rest room. Not Celiac safe, in my experience.
Gluten Free pancakes!!! Also tons of other gf options, plus a menu that's well labeled, and the staff seems gf-knowledgeable.
Awesome atmosphere!!! Friendly staff and delicious gluten free pancakes!!!!
Yummy gf pancakes, and English muffins. I love their cinnamon swirl pancakes, and the classic eggs benedict, so delicious!
great cinnamon pancakes. tasted like a cinnamon roll. soy milk latte. next day had gluten free huevos rancheros (red chili sauce is gf) sub egg for tofu. very accommodating.
Friendly wait staff. Decent options. GF pancake options and GF English muffin. Both are loaded with dairy though so I missed out on those yummies. I did have a bowl of quinoa cooked in coconut milk with cinnamon, walnuts and fresh berries. Wow!
Food was awesome. Room way too loud. Folks with hearing problems can't have a conversation with their meal.
omg this place is Fabulous! went about 8am. huge menu with lots of gf items. Real maple syrup available for $2, gf pancakes just $1 more AND specialty pancakes are available gf....so Hawaiian pineapple coconut pancakes were served at this table. they could easily be a dessert item for anyone too. had an omelet and hash browns and got a GF English muffin toasted & on the side. so delicious. hubby called it a hipster place. organic, free range, real sugar on the table-table - not the bleached stuff.
This was our last stop before heading to the airport and I wish I had come here much earlier in our trip. After several sad meals during our stay I was overwhelmed with emotion to find a safe GF meal. A little bummed about not being able to be seated until our entire party arrived (and then having to wait an additional 10 minutes once they did arrive because a number of people came after us), that I would say was the only negative. Our service was fast, friendly, very GF focused and just great. The food was plentiful and delicious for my non celiac family and my littlest nephew had some fun with the kids game he received. While I'm not big on sweets for breakfast I HAD to have the pancakes - and I was thrilled to find they were fluffy, delicious, fun, and just like 'normal' pancakes - but far more delicious. It was great to have a safe meal that was delicious and satisfying. It was also nice to eat in an environment where asking for GF is the norm not the exception. The staff was fun and the vibe was great. Thankful I have family in the area because I will be back!
Great food and service. gluten free options were plentiful and nice atmosphere.
I really love the atmosphere at this restaurant. We went at lunch time, and we were able to get a seat without any trouble even though there were a lot of people there. I was really impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and attentive in a non-annoying way. My husband and I had breakfast tacos which were absolutely delicious! My daughter had the pancakes which looked really good and she seems to like them a lot. I was also pleasantly surprised at the kids' activity that they gave her while we waited for our food. Instead of the usual coloring sheet with cheap crayons they gave her a little punch out toy where she could build her own pirate ship. It was a perfect activity to occupy her for just the right amount of time while our food was being prepared. There were plenty of gluten-free options to suit our needs which was a nice change of pace because where we're from gluten-free is hard to find. I'm just sad that we don't live in Colo Springs because we would eat here a lot!
best pancakes I've ever eaten!
I used to love this place, but it has been at four times now that I've become violently ill after eating there. Not good for celiac at all. So sad, we loved the people and atmosphere, but I won't be returning. My last meal also tasted very salty and just strange all around.
great breakfast place....gluten friendly. lots of options. staff very knowledgeable about
Atmosphere is fantastic! They have several gf options but the food is only average. I'm hoping they will someday offer their award winning biscuits and gravy gf.
I'm not sure why this place has such great reviews but when I went in they told me everything was prepared on the same grill top ....everything. i ended up having to order just a fruit bowl.
I love going out for breakfast and was super excited to try Over Easy since I'd heard many people rave about it! I couldn't believe how many gluten-free dishes they offer! I ordered the Breakfast Tacos ... so delicious and loved the avocado on top. Highly recommend ordering some of the pancakes, which are all available GF!
Absolutely delicious! My server was very sweet and helpful. The SouthWest Benedict is amazing. I got a little extra hollandaise for my hashbrowns. BE FOREWARNED--, their "GF" version of cheesecake pancakes is a normal cheesecake scraped off the crust. I discovered that when I put the cheesecake filling on my Gf pancakes and found graham cracker crust in it! The waitress was very understanding and they remade it, but I think they either need to make a real GF cheesecake or remove that option as a GF option. that's why 3 stars instead of 5. if not for that, a perfect 5 for food, service and atmosphere
This place was amazing! I had the breakfast quinoa and 1 Hawaiian pancake, a must go if your in Colorado Springs! Most things are gf or can be made gf :) one happy celiac!
Great food, great gf selection. Very friendly wait staff!
Excellent wait staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Food is amazing!
The food was good, but there was also some cross-contamination. We told the waiter about being Celiac and he said they had a separate prep area and were knowledgable, but cross-contamination occurred for sure! Pancakes are NOT safe here.
Gluten free options are good, liked the cinnamon pancakes. Recommend to anyone with celiac, really good service and really good gluten free food. Didn’t get cross contaminated and they are very aware with food allergies and people with celiac
I ordered gluten free pancakes, and was very explicit about needing them to be gluten free. The server even repeated the order back to me. However, after eating 2 pancakes, the check came and I was not charged for gluten free. Turns out the pancakes were not gluten free. The manager was apologetic, and gave me the food (which I can't eat) for free. He also told me to let him know if I have a severe reaction. I have a very bad wheat allergy, and have gone to the ER before from it. Luckily I took a 24 hour antihistamine before going to the restaurant (I always take one before going out to eat). I also took a benadryl right after I found out. I will not be going back to this restaurant, and do not recommend it for anyone with celiac or a food allergy. I would give 0 stars if I could.
This place is the bomb, they have any pancakes you want. They are GF friendly and they have the GF on the menu. Makes it easier to order. I hate when I have to ask for a GF menu. it's usually a card, ugh!! I have eaten here and never had a reaction. Great staff as well.
My daughter and I both have Celiac. They had several gluten free options and designated area for prep and cooking. The food was average, a little disappointed. But we didn't get sick, so that's awesome! Free parking in garage next door. Pet friendly outside patio. Had a 30 minute wait at 10:00 am.
We ate here at about 9:30am on Monday and it was packed! But we had great service. Rachel was our server and seemed very knowledgeable about keeping our Celiac family safe. My main question is whether the GF pancakes are cooked on a dedicated portion of the griddle and they are! Yahoo! Both of our kids got the chocolate chip pancakes (kid sized) and loved them. I had the quinoa in coconut milk and it was about my favorite breakfast I've ever had - now I'm on a mission to recreate it at home. Our server marked our ticket as the requisite "allergy," and told me the cooks would change gloves for our order. All in all I'd highly recommend it!
I have Celiacs and had a great experience here. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and careful. I had their eggs benedict on a gluten free english muffin, which was excellent. My non-celiac family really enjoyed their meals as well and my mom even enjoyed the gluten free english muffin she ordered. The english muffin is not the exact same as a gluteny one but still very good. They had a decent selection of gluten free offerings. Overall a good experience.
I had a gluten free muffins classic eggs benedict. The wife had a traditional muffin. The muffin was very good. but we both felt they skimped on hollandaise sauce. Also, the hollandaise lacked tang. We both had poached eggs that were cooked a bit too long, there was hardly any runny part. My plate had less hash browns than hers. There's a pokestop nearby ;-)
The other reviews lead us to this place, few clarifications. Only the pancakes, eggs and hash browns and English muffin are gluten free and you have to pay more for that option. Gre as the food and service just wish I had known about the price difference and that they didn't have gf bread/rolls ( I was excited for French toast) . I will go back again.
Wasn't worth the drive. I drove from the north side of Denver to enjoy this GF breakfast that has been raved about. Bad news. The hash browns and bacon was cold and the huge (I liked this) pancakes were Luke warm at best. Took awhile for the butter to melt. If I have the chance again, I'm going to OPH instead. It's not much further away.
