Not safe for celiacs. Take a peek behind behind the counter and you'll find MAJOR cross contamination issues-- Everything is laid out buffet style, pre-cooked and placed right next to one another. Rice noodles touching wheat noodles, potstickers touching chicken wings, etc. Employee turnover is high and knowledge varies, before I realized the extent of the crosss contamination issues I often struggled with misguided staff members insisting some glutinous things were gf, and saying that gf-menu marked items were not.

Me and another person without celiac got food poisoning and the food was disgusting. I don’t think it was cross contaminated but am not sure.

This is a build your order type of place and MANY GF options for the noodle or rice base, protein, and all the basic sauces are GF as are al the veggies. We were here with a group of 7 and it's a great place for everyone to get just what they want. Lots of mmmmmmmd and no sickness afterward. The basic sauces are either mild or med - the peanut sauce is med and was spicy for someone raised on white food but not uncomfortably so. Beverages include wine, beer, cider, and old timey pops. Great location in an historic building - convenient for St. Paul downtown, lowertown, farmers market, CHS field and easy access by car or green line light rail. Union Depot lot B is right across the street and, if you can find a place to park there, the restaurant will validate your parking.
