Got very sick and later realized I was told the cones were gluten free and after the fact was told that they weren't. Not safe for celiacs unfortunately and employees are not trained on GF.

This place used to accomodate celiac. Unfortunately no more. Went in with my daughter and they refused to wash the spoon or serve her anything other than the ice cream from the top of the container. They don’t care about celiac or cross contamination. The servers were extremely curt.

If you want ice cream in the area that is safe for celiac go to Venchi on Columbus.

Van Leeuwen does a good job with allergies - lots of GF flavors - there’s a full list of ingredients and allergies on the website with a QR code to scan on the menu. They change gloves, clean the scooper and scoop from the bottom of the container so you get fresh ice cream

Amazing vegan gluten free ice cream!! All ingredients are listed on the glass so you can see what is vegan and gluten free.

So yum! I had the vegan dark chocolate fudge brownie and the vegan peanut butter brownie honeycomb- both delicious!!
