The ribs were gluten free but not very good. The hamburger was okay, and they charged additional for the bun. The twice baked potato was dry. Definitely don't get the sides as theyre fried in contaminated oil. And if you get the burger, make sure to get the miracle whip on the side due to possible cc.
I assumed their meat was GF, since I have been going there since I was a kid. When I got my CD diagnosis, I called to make sure and the staff told me the seasoning was made with BARLEY - my most reactive gluten. Please be careful and check before ordering. Hopefully I was misinformed.
When I asked the cashier about their gluten free items she just looked puzzled and said she didn't know. I had to ask if she could get someone who knew. No one really seemed knowledgeable about it, and contrary to other reviews I was told that their BBQ sauce was not gluten free, but like I said they all seemed confused. The gluten free roll was delicious and had a great texture. All in all it is an alright place. I wouldn't go out of my way, and with the limited knowledge among staff I imagine CC chances are high.
good bbq the meat and sauces are gf, unfortunately none of the fried sides are because they fry everything in the same grease. However they always change gloves and wash their hands if you ask and tell them you are gf!
