This location is closing at the end of January 2016. They're still open at their other location at 1422 Nogalitos St. in San Antonio. It's always awesome to find a dedicated gluten free business! Yummy, excellent variety!

Great menu variety. 100% vegan and gluten free restaurant so people with celiac like myself don't need to worry. Can't go wrong with any of the daily specials. Great desserts and relaxed bohemian atmosphere.
Always my go to for a great, filling take out!

hmm. What to say. The food is not bad...if you want to wait an hour to get it. We ordered a salad, grilled portobello mushroom, a smoothie and a small side of chips. There are 10-12 tables of 2-4 people, all full, but with two waitresses (which they had), this should be completely manageable. At around the 45 minute mark, when we hadn't even gotten the chips, I went to ask how much longer the food would be and would be told it would be right out. 10 minutes later, it finally arrived with no apology for the wait time. Hoping for redemption, we ordered raspberry empanadas to go, but when they weren't ready within 15 minutes, we just paid and left. Again, the food itself is pretty tasty, but I wouldn't go back until they fix the wait times.

Very knowledgeable and lots of good choices. Their dairy free "cream" on top of the enchiladas was great.

Their food is SO Good and staff is very friendly. Always a safe choice. I regularly get the Sweet Potato Sundried Tomato Enchiladas with Sun Flower Cream and the Murphy The Zombie Slayer Burger. Both are Delicious and craveable!! I get both with fries which have awesome seasoning on them. Also if you ever see the Mint Chocolate Chip cookie sandwich, you MUST get it =)

Good food, but rather limited menu on Saturday in favor of their buffet. Tostadas and pasta salad were especially yummy.

If your not vegan don't eat here. I ate here because I have celiac and all the other dedicated gluten free places were closed on Mondays. I am not vegan but thought hey it can't be that bad, and at least I'm guaranteed not to get sick. Well the food was not my cup of tea. It was terrible lol. So if your vegan do your thing. But if your gluten free and looking for a place try somewhere else first.

working with owner re: issues like vinegar and sourcing from the always risky Trader Joes. they use guar gum, not xanthan. That means milder gummy tummy problems!
I won't be eating here for now, but the staff is great.

The sweet potato enchiladas were amazing. Great spice and texture. The salad dressing was yummy as well. I also tried the green chili & lentil Patti. I prefer more spice and a green chili sauce would of been a great topping. The GF bakery items were so yummy. The chocolate cupcake and cookies were great.
Vegeria interested us because it is almost all GF, and has GF baked goods. We are not even vegetarians, much less vegan, but decided to give it a try anyway. I had a grilled mushroom sandwich but they were out of bread and put it on a rice flour tortilla for me. My companion, who is DF, had enchiladas with rice and beans. He loved his too. We took a chocolate wine cupcake home with us. We loved Vegeria. Everything tasted very fresh. Expect to wait. The day we were there was crowded and there was only one waitperson scurrying about as fast as she could. If you are vegan AND GF this place is heaven for you!
very. helpful. Delicious!!!
