The happy hour was good but limited menu. I got the Margarita Puro, chips and guacamole, and the Queso Fundido for myself and our group. Then for my meal I had the Barbacoa Enchiladas… one of the best I’ve ever had.

Their menu states the entire kitchen is Gluten Free. They mark items as having a vegan option as well. The food was delicious and tasted like all the ingredients were clean and sourced with higher standards. Enchiladas usually look a bit sad when plated at other restaurants but theirs are piled high with colorful veggies and a verde sauce, making it visually appealing as well as tasty.

This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine! I love that they locally source as much as they can. Everything is gluten and dairy free so it is always completely safe. It is my “go to” place to take anyone to dinner (celiac or not)!

Utterly outstanding. We had the queso fundido, mushroom quesadilla, and posole with pork. All were masterpieces in their own right. I went in expecting standard cookie-cutter Americanized Mexican, but these dishes were in an entirely different, fine-dining league with authentic roots. We will be returning to Portland just to eat here again.

Amazing! My spouse and I had a 3 course dinner which was amazing, and then we had to hit this spot for breakfast on our last day in the city. Breakfast was unreal! I had the Horchata French Toast. I ordered take out. It arrived quickly, well packaged and they included a TON of extra condiments. I ordered chips & guac, which I can honestly say were the best I’ve had in my LIFE. Delicious. The fajitas were fine, perhaps a bit bland with tofu as the protein. Would recommend!

Visit to Portland from Southern Oregon… Just WOW!! Had a late lunch and came back in the morning for brunch. Highly recommend the Horchata French Toast with eggs and pork belly! Hard to not go “Mmmmm” after every satisfying bite!❤❤❤

Excellent food and service! All of their sauces are vegan, so in addition to being totally gluten free, there were lots of dairy free options as well. The cocktails were strong and tasty and Arro took great care of us!

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious!! Everything in their restaurant is gluten-free with vegetarian and vegan options as well!! The food was delicious!! I had the fajitas and my friend order chile rellanos with agua frescas and shared the queso fundido appetizer. It was so liberating to be able to order food with both our dietary restrictions (me celiac and her vegetarian) without worrying about cross-contamination or not being taken seriously. Definitely recommend Verde Cosina!!

While everything is GF safe and the waiter cross-checked for other allergens, this does not taste like traditional Mexican food. The flavours were not there, the corn chips had more flavour than the guacamole and salsas. The enchiladas taste nothing like any Mexican dish I’ve ever had. Essentially come with an open mind and imagine you may not be eating what you think of when you think of Mexican and your tastebuds will be just fine.

We found this place with the app while passing through Portland last week and we made a point of passing through again today so we could have dinner again! The food is fantastic, it's beautifully presented and the service both times was so great. They are really enthusiastic. The whole place is 100 percent GF. We are staying in town tonight because the breakfast and brunch looks so good. There is seating both outside and inside. The atmosphere is lovely.
