Felt misled by the claim they can make everything gluten free. They also claimed to have a gluten free menu, but refused to provide one when I asked. I was lured in by the prospect of gluten free onion rings and stuffed jalapenos, but those were not available in a gluten free form. Overall the food was fine, if forgettable, but it was also wildly overpriced, and they customer service was abysmally bad.

Very Celiac friendly. Dedicated fryer, gluten free buns. When we called and asked about the GF they asked if it was for celiacs and marked it as such for special handling. Thank you, thank you! We'll be back again.

Vertigo is one of my favorite places to go for gf food. I have celiac and am VERY sensitive to cross contamination and have never had a problem here. They have gluten free buns for burgers and there is a designated fryer for gf fries. If you say you want something gluten free they ask if it is for an allergy and mark it accordingly. The food also happens to be delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.

They also offer vegan options, and their black bean burger is very good.

First off- the onion rings are NOT available gluten free, no big deal- just a warning since I was disappointed.

The gf bun was good, buffalo fried chicken was delicious, meat of the burger was tender.

The kids grilled chicken tenders were TERRIBLE. They were VERY SALTY and heavily PEPPERED. My kids wouldn’t eat them and neither would I. 👎🏻

The owner of this restaurant is gluten free, so you can rest assured that the proper precautions are being taken to ensure there is no CC! Dedicated fryers guarantee your food to be gluten free. I eat here AT LEAST three times a week. Almost everything can be made gluten free - hello fried chicken!! I missed you so! Other burger joints may offer gluten free buns and fries, but Vertigo goes the extra mile by making sure their customers are taken care of (and the food is better than the other places anyway)!

We were driving through Tallahassee on our way home from Tampa and found this yummy place! They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and proper precautions. My Celiac son was so excited about being able to eat gf fries and chicken tenders. They also had a delicious gf bun for the burgers. Highly recommended!

We have always loved eating at Vertigo. For years my mom, a senior citizen, has ordered the gluten free kid’s chicken fingers. The portion was exact for her appetite. With paying the extra fee for the gf flour, the total is over $6 for a handful of fries and three chicken fingers. Today she stopped by to place a to go order and encountered a disgruntled employee who argued that my mom was not under 12 as the new sign stated and could not purchase a kid’s chicken fingers. My mom tried to reason with her to no avail. The employee continued to be rude so my mom left without eating. That’s incredibly disappointing. I am hoping the owners re-evaluate their new policy and weigh the cost of three chicken fingers against losing a family of five who have eaten there for years. If I ever go there again I will be sure to take my daughter’s ID to prove she is indeed young enough to eat the kid’s meal.

We just ate here. Delicious and safe for celiac. They have many options, and a dedicated fryer. They are very knowledgeable- when my daughter ordered a milkshake the girl at the counter asked if we had celiac and she warned us that the shake may have cross-contamination due to a shared blender with other shakes that contain graham crackers. I wish there was a place like this in South Florida.

I have celiac disease and had a very positive experience, no problems. I agree that the burgers are excellent, bun too! Loved having sweet potato fries from a dedicated fryer. Regarding the previous post from 2016, I asked the manager if they still had other gluten-free items, and he said yes, many other choices.

Vertigo has the most gluten free options than any other restaurant that I have been to since being diagnosed with celiac! EVERYTHING on their menu can be made gluten free and they are right off I-10 if you are just passing through!!!! They have a dedicated fryer and gluten free batter for fried chicken tenders, onion rings, etc. They also have gluten free buns and this was the first time I have had a burger on a bun with French fries in a year- heaven! Not only was everything gluten free, it was delicious- hand cut fries, juicy burger. Contemplating moving to Tallahassee or opening a franchise where I live 😉

I have been gluten free for 10 years and this was the best burger I have ever had in that time . The staff was so knowledgeable and the area is totally cleaned before preparing gluten free foods . My burger and fries were outstanding . The staff also suggested their gluten free chicken breast sandwich which is batter dipped . So we got one to go . Excellent business !!!!! Thanks , Tina

The gluten free burgers here are amazing. They have an excellent selection, and are knowledgable on allergens and cross contamination practices. I had the Vertigo on a gluten free bun with fries from a dedicated gluten free fryer. It was all excellent, and no reaction an hour later. They are definitely celiac friendly. The burgers were about $9 apiece when we were there in July, 2016. The entire family loved the food, and did not have to sacrifice to accommodate my allergy needs.

I am a celiac and had no trouble at this great place. They don't have a separate menu, but they DO have the know-how and a dedicated fryer!

I had a delicious fried chicken sandwich! And my husband had one too with great sweet potato fries and regular fries! My only caveat is that they up charge a gluten-free fee for every item ordered gluten-free.

But, the price for having a safe meal as a celiac is truly wonderful despite the up charge :-)

It's rare that a Celiac can get to eat fried chicken out at a restaurant without the risk of cross contamination. Vertigo does an awesome job avoiding Cross contamination because the not only change their gloves, they also have a dedicated fryer! The gluten free bunch is 100x better than Udi's. Both the French fries and sweet potato fries are much better than at Red Robin's. I had the gluten free Grill chicken burger with regular fries. my dining companion who also dines gluten free had the sweet potato fries and one the triple slam burger and enjoyed it also. sometimes the soup is gluten free and this particular night we enjoyed a curried vegetable puree. I look forward to my next visit.

The gluten free bun and gluten-free bread is made by Pure Knead bakery out of Decatur, GA

One of the few places in town educated in cross contamination! They have a separate fryer and gluten free batter so even with celiacs you can get fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and fries and they are all delicious! I especially appreciate the staff asking if it's preference or allergy and taking special care with my order when I let them know it's an allergy. I highly recommend the southern spin burger. Yum.
