Another iteration in the chain of local cafes, overall, par for the course. If you want to eat here on a weekend for breakfast, GET ON THE WAITLIST. As soon as you roll out of bed pretty much. My partner and I got on the waitlist at 10am, got ready leisurely, and drove over and were seated about 2 hours later. Breakfast for me was the buckwheat pancakes. No idea the level of safety in this joint, but considering I had a bit of burnt hash brown cooked into the bottom of one of my pancakes my confidence is not high. Despite that I did not feel sick later.
Village square is always a good choice for breakfast! They offer gluten free bread, French toast and pancakes besides the many other natural gluten free options like omelettes and eggs. Only downside is they do charge for GF bread. Always consistent food, great service and friendly neighborhood cafe vibes!
