This restaurant should not be on this app other then to say STAY AWAY! I truly have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant. My son and I drove into SB (we live 2 hours away) for a one night get away before college. We saw this cute restaurant he liked Looked at the menu and asked The hostess if they had gluten free items on the menu and told her I had some allergies. At no time did she indicate the restaurant does not serve people with allergies. After waiting to be seated my son and I were so excited. He was so excited about the menu. The waitress came and took our order I explained my allergies and that's when she said our GF is not for allergies. I saw my sons face drop. I said that's ok how about a pizza on a GF crust and if you could just have the chefs use a clean plate to cook and change their gloves I'll be fine. I thought all was fine... my son and I were having a great conversation and she came back and said I spoke with the manager and he does not feel good about serving you. I said it's ok I understand if they just change out gloves and put the pizza on a clean plate I'm mostly worried about salmon and since it's not in same area the server said I will be fine if they just change their gloves and cook on a clean pizza plate that would be great. She then said the manager doesn't want to serve you due to your allergies. He doesn't have time to talk to the chef and we are backed up. WOW! My heart sank I saw my sons face drop. We got up went to look fir another restaurant on state street but since it was now 8:50 no other restaurants would seat us because they were closing. Thanks eleven 14 for basically ruining our sweet night we had planned. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! If you think I'm a Karen great. I just want to save someone else the embarrassment of having to get up in front of a group because the restaurant refuses to serve you because you have allergies. It was embarrassing and heart breaking. It's hard enough to feel different because of food allergies but NO restaurant should indicate on their menu they address them and at the least tell your hostess to warn those with allergies away.

Disappointed. They have a “chips and dip” duo on the menu that is clearly marked as a gluten free dish. When it came out it came with a heaping pile of pita chips. I know what pita chips look like. I politely asked the waitress what kind of chips these were and she didn’t know and went to ask the chef. Came back to confirm, Yes they are pita chips and they are NOT gluten free. So why is the dish marked as GF on the menu?? It made me distrust the rest of the other couple items designated as gluten free.

The staff was excellent! We have a serious dairy allergy and 4 with Celiac. Our server Andrew was very astute with ingredients and the menu. We felt safe and confident. The food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food! Very accomodative and excellent service. The server was very knowledgeable and also asked the kitchen when needed and came back quickly to let me know the answer.
Great gluten free options and helpful staff :) highly recommend
Staff very knowledgeable about GF and cross contamination. They have a dedicated fryer for chips. They were also willing to make safe GF quesadilla (not on the menu) for my 11 year old celiac.

The waiter Andrew was a huge help he knew what items could be made GF. several of the items that were not even listed gf on the menu could also be gf. The chips were really good and cooked in a separate fryer. I used my Nima and tested the nachos (with no cheese), shredded chicken tacos, rice and beans they all came back GF. All the food was excellent! The only item on the kids menu that could be gf was a quesadilla. As a side note the hostess didn’t know anything about gf so it could possibly be hit or miss with staff.
