The entire menu is GF so no post contamination possible (except sandwiches that can be prepared in lettuce wrap or homemade GF toast bread) All the breading are used with chickpea flour and rice flour. Soy sauce is GF. All desserts are GF. 90% of their alcohol used for cocktails is GF, including a couple of beers.

Absolutely wonderful! Menu is marked making it easy to choose from appetizers to desserts. Staff is extremely knowledgeable (Frank- is a gem) & friendly. Calamari & pumpkin fritters were delicious. But the best part of the meal was the Cashew semi-freddo cheesecake with mango coulis and lime zest - still amazed that it was GF.

As the only gluten free individual in my immediate family, I feel like every time I go to a restaurant that specializes in gluten free my family doesn’t enjoy the meal. This was not the case here! My entire family raves about their meals so much so that we came back for a second meal! I had no reaction and felt super safe here!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Vivo. Our server was able to explain their cooking processes and, even though the menu items were clearly marked as GF, he still made sure the kitchen knew of my dietary needs. We also spoke with the owner who was very kind and told us about the restaurant’s history and how they desire to be safe for not just people with gluten-free needs but also those who have seafood allergies and those who are vegan or plant-based. My husband and I split the pumpkin fritters as an appetizer and for dinner, I had the Mahi Mahi Escovitche and my husband had the Red Snapper. Both were delicious and both gluten free. Highly recommend if you’re on Grand Cayman! (And the view was just as amazing as the food!)

Menu is very clear with many GF/DF options and the food is just delicious! Definitely recommend the cocomari and snapper dishes. It’s a hole in the wall next to a dive shop with great views of the ocean.

Epic! The menu is mostly gluten free! The waiter was exceptionally knowledgeable about cross contamination. I felt so safe feeding my Celiac son here. He ordered spaghetti and meatballs and raved about them. We also had fried calamari. YES. Fried! They only use rice and tapioca fours. The Pad Thai was ordered and I was told it was amazing. As was the red snapper, and I got fried Mahi Mahi. Everything was wonderful! What a treat! And only minutes from our condo. We will go back!

We stopped by Vivo for lunch after reading the reviews on the App. They know about gluten and celiac. The gluten free items are clearly flagged on the menu (a lot of options). I had the red snapper, rice and sautéed mushroom. I also ordered some gluten free bread. Everything was DELICIOUS and no upset stomach. We will be back!

Vivo is a great option for people with celiac disease. The staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Their fryer is gluten free and all their fried breading is rice, corn and tapioca flour. They have the best fried calamari on the island along with great other options Including gluten free bread for sandwiches. Highly recommend!!

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free preparation. Toasted my sandwich on in-house homemade gluten free bread in the oven knowing to keep it separate from regular bread. Great food- highly recommend!

Cozy Mediterranean atmosphere with a combined diveshop and restaurant. Very allergen aware and the lionfish is especially worth trying. Also has gluten free food for kids
