They handled our GF order with more care and attention than almost anywhere else we have been. Food was excellent. Our kids both wanted to go back again.

Lovely GF options, they cannot rule out cross contamination but i have never had a problem eating at this chain. Food and drinks are great every time!

They are extremely cautious with allergies. So much so that I’m thinking they may have been sued in the past. It was actually to a level of embarrassing for me (I also have a honey allergy but my solution of just eating the gf vegan options wasn’t a solution). Only the manager was allowed to take my order, separately to the rest of our table. Manager noted that kitchen would make everything separately etc no cc chat needed. Food came separately to everyone else’s with allergy flags.
Nice food but be sure you don’t mind being made a massive fuss of.

Amazing food and awesome service. I have Celiac Disease so require a strict gluten free diet. The staff were amazing at understanding the requirements of this disease. They gave me a gluten free menu and I was served by the manager who discussed with me their process with avoiding contamination and gave me full faith that I would be safe to eat here. On their gluten free menu it clearly states their processes and even gives different options for intolerant and celiac safe options. Would definitely reccomend for any celiacs or anyone with an allergy!

When we went to order our waiter told us that the manager had to take the order for our son with celiac. When the manager came, instead of assuring us what procedures they had in place to prepare food safely for our son, he rudely said they couldn’t make any guarantees and then said “do you agree to that or not?“ This treatment is difficult to believe for an establishment that provides a specific gluten-free menu. I have never felt like a restaurant cared less about preparing gluten free food safely. Stay away!

Incredible experience for a celiac on vacation. Their staff took it very seriously and presented not only a GF menu but celiac-safe indicators. My partner also had a delicious, gluten-FILLED (lucky) quesadilla she had dreams about later that night. Fun for the whole family!

Went to eat without reservation. This was no problem at all. They have a separate GF menu. They asked if I was gluten intolerant and the moment I said I was celiac everything was taken seriously. The manager took my order and it was prepared and served separate from the gluten order my friend had. The food was delicious and I felt very safe and taken seriously. 10/10 would recommend 🤩

The server proactively asks if you have allergies and there is a separate GF menu which distinguishes between items that are safer for celiac vs items that you could have cross contamination due to shared fryer. The manager is the only one that can take your GF order which made me feel better. I had the beef, pork and chicken tacos, all on corn tortillas. My favorite was the pork taco. Everything was very fresh. They also have GF safe tortilla chips that we had with guacamole and salsa. But If dining with GF picky eater kids, I would just warn that the tacos are a bit fancy and spicier so don’t think this is a plain kids menu.
Really great experience here. GF menu with heaps of options. Staff very knowledgeable. Order taken and delivered by the manager. Food marked with an ‘allergy’ flagged. All the food we had was really tasty.

Too small a kitchen at this Wahaca to be coeliac friendly. We followed advice and were given the GF warning (we have eaten safely at other Wahaca’s) but my daughter had massive gluten reaction. Don’t trust the GF flag at this restaurant if you are a coeliac. They are investigating the cause so I was very happy they are taking it seriously.
