I had a burger on a gf bun and fries, the fries are made in a dedicated fryer. My server verified that the fries were celiac safe. The person who brought my tray out said “gluten free” when dropping it off and my burger was on a plate on the tray just like another review said. My meal was delicious, the bun was really good and did not fall apart. I had no reactions and would return again if I come back to MOA.
Our server was a little kooky but very helpful when answering questions. Confirmed there is a dedicated fryer for the fries, and that they notify the kitchen the same way they do an allergy. They also put my burger onto a plate instead of the tray. I’m not sure if it’s a way to mark that it’s gluten free or if it is a way to keep it from coming into contact with the tray (I would assume they wash them so I don’t know why that would need to be a thing. The food wasn’t bad and the price can’t be beat. A quick and easy place to grab food when at the mall.

Solid GF options (burgers with GF bun, wings, fries) and server was knowledgeable about GF sauces. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced!
Good place with a GF bun. Did not ask about the fryer because I just really, REALLY needed some tots and didn't want them to tell me I shouldn't have them. No reaction the next day.
Waiter was really knowledgeable about what was and wasn't gluten free right down to the sauces. Bun is an Udi type that tends to fall apart quickly. Would recommend.
This was my first dining out experience after my diagnosis with celiac disease and it was a great one. Staff was very knowledgeable and took everything very seriously. I got a burger and fries and it was delicious.

Got the “our burger” on a gluten free bun with fries. They do have a gluten free fryer which is amazing and the burger was delicious! Burger also comes out with an orange flag in it. Definitely a great place for celiacs with lots of options!
They were VERY knowledgeable regarding gluten free, they offer gf buns and the fries are made in a dedicated gf fryer. The kitchen staff changes their gloves and makes sure everything is properly cooked and no cross contamination. While they don’t have a specific gf menu almost everything on their menu can be gf. Highly recommend!
We stopped with my celiac 5 year old. She got a gf grilled cheese and fries (dedicated fryer). They have a lot of kids meal options that can be modified to GF - grilled cheese, burgers, hot dog (no bun), grilled chicken tenders. My daughter loved it. They were familiar with my ask about GF protocol with asking them to use new kitchen utensils and take care with her food to minimize gluten cross contamination. We will be back again
Husband said it was the best gluten free bun he has had. Fries cooked in safe fryer. Served on designated plates. Felt very safe
Double checked the friers were GF and they are. Ordered a hamburger on GF bun with tots. All tasted good and didn't feel sick afterwards.
The waitress was very knowledgeable. She brought out the hamburger bun package so I could check for our other allergies. We ordered and the chef came out personally to tell us how everything was cooked. The GF fries and burger were excellent. We were treated like Kings and Queens rather than an inconvenience. We will be back!
We have stop here so many times. Wife and daughter are celiac. Enjoying gluten free fries and burgers is something we don’t get to have every day. The first time we were worried as it was our first experience but then after no reactions we kept coming for more every visit. Eat without a worry!
I ate here twice. (Paul’s choice cheeseburger and tarot tots). I did not have any reaction. My waitress was knowledgeable about food items. They have gluten free buns. My allergy is wheat.
Came to the Mall of America just to have lunch here. My only complaint was it was obvious the host didn’t want to be there. We would have preferred a booth but he never asked and kinda tossed the menus on the table and ran off literally as we were trying to get his attention. Otherwise, great experience for a gluten free family with celiac kids. We all had burgers with fries and tots. Dedicated fryer. Gluten free buns are available. We even asked if it was possible to lettuce wrap our burgers and they happily obliged. Server was very knowledgeable about what had gluten such as the barbecue sauce that we couldn’t have. No issues afterwards. We will continue to seek out Wahlburgers as we love their burgers and the gluten free experience here.

Not safe to eat here. I had an extensive conversation with our server Chris. He assured me that the French fries would be gluten free and from a dedicated fryer. A server brought out the French fries with onion rings next to them. I sent that back since it’s not what I ordered and also informed them AGAIN that I have celiac. Chris brought out new French fries, but when I asked if it was the same plate, he said yes… So I did not end up eating anything here due to Chris’s recklessness and I will never eat here in the future.
I’ve been here three times and had a positive experience each time. Waitstaff has been very knowledgeable about Celiac. They recommended not getting the government cheese because it may have traces of gluten. I’ve gotten cheeseburger and fries (dedicated fryer) each time I’ve been here.
Enjoyed a delicious burger with sweet potato tots! Dedicated fryer, almost all burgers are GF, and staff were very knowledgeable about ingredients and prep.
The staff was amazing! I asked for my burger to be on a Gluten Free Bun and the. Asked for sweet potato tots. They asked allergy or preference - I stated allergy and they said they’d ensure my tots were cooked in a separate fryer.
They were very careful about ensuring no cross contamination and that my gluten free was treated with caution.
Could be really safe but they gave me some sauce with gluten.
Didn’t even attempt to eat here. I asked about gluten free options and the two employees, one of which was a manager showed me ONE item on the menu that was a vegan burger and said that was my only option. I’m not ordering from a place where the employees have no idea what you mean by gluten free. Please teach about gluten free to your employees.

10 year old review: Service (Alex) was really friendly and on top of allergies! Dedicated fryer for fries and tots! Homemade ranch dip was too dilly otherwise it was great!
I'm usually leery of dedicated fryers but or waiter put me at ease. The fries and sweet potato tots were amazing and a rare treat to have when needing to be gluten-free. Our burgers, on toasted gluten-free bread were delicious too. We're definitely going back whenever we're in the area.
Waiter was very kind and asked us if we had an allergy or preference. We were assured that the chef was taking extra time to ensure that the food was gluten free and the food was brought ought separately by the manager. Great experience.
One of the best GF burger buns I've had! Dedicated fryer for fries and tots, really knowledgeable server! They also offer GF bread and croutons and they offer bowls/salads if you feel like skipping the bread all together. Will definitely be back!
Knowledgeable staff. I was able to order an Impossible Burger (plant based) on a gluten free bun AND french fries (dedicated fryer). I can’t wait to visit again!
Excellent meal with two very celiac children, both of whom had burgers and fries. Very good food, enjoyed by all and no ill effects from the deliciousness! Highly recommended!

After all the reviews, I really thought this place would be amazing. Sadly disappointed that I couldn't eat. Nima tester found gluten. The manager came out and said "that's the best they could do."

They are awesome! We have eaten here four times. Unfortunately we just found out this last time that the cheese sauce that we have had every time has gluten in it. Bummer!

We’ve been here several times now. The food is so good! They have a ton of gluten free options! French fries, tater tots, sweet potato tots all made in a dedicated fryer. I request our gf burgers to be cooked in the back on the grill dedicated to allergies. Celiac safe!

Lots of gluten free options. Cannot have the BBQ sauce or onion rings, but much of the rest of the menu can be gluten free, including the fries and tots. I had a burger on a gluten free bun and sweet potato tots. So good! Server was knowledgeable about gluten free options. Highly recommend!
Plenty of gluten free options including buns and sandwich bread! The staff is thoughtful and willing to make sure the food is safe for you to eat. And the burgers are delicious :)

Needed a quick lunch near Jordan MN. Had eaten at this location a couple years ago and it was good, so decided to try it again. They have good gluten free buns and they toast them so they hold together, nicely. They have a dedicated fryer and pretty tasty Angus burgers. The folks taking the order have no idea what gluten is, so I asked to speak with someone from the kitchen. She was great and confirmed they could provide a gluten free burger and confirmed dedicated fryers. Good meal. Safe meal. Feel free to ask for kitchen staff if you have questions.
We had a nice dinner here. Dedicated fryer and good gf buns. Server was knowledgeable. Food came out marked.
11/29/24. I just stopped by. They said they don’t have any GF buns. I didn’t ask about anything else.
The beef patty in the burgers are delish. I ordered a double burger with gf bun. I noticed right away the dry crumblyness of the bun which means it is truly a gf bun. 😅 The fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer that i confirmed with the wait staff. No gf menu. It does say on the menu any burger can be made gluten free by switching out the bun.
Excellent experience! All the sauces are gf and the sides are as well. They noted my allergy in the kitchen as well so no cross contamination. They offer both a gf bun and bread for the sandwiches.
