Great place. Friendly service, cute dining room. Lots of delicious gluten free options options including a fantastic GF French toast casserole and epic GF breakfast sandwich. I have had a lot of different GF breads over the years - most terrible but a few pretty good. They used easily the best GF bread I have had. They offer a varied and interesting menu at pretty excellent prices. Have only been there for brunch but looking forward to trying dinner soon.
The chef/owner Anthony personally discussed options with my partner, who has celiac disease. In a hilarious turn, he recounted his realization that he accidentally created an entirely gluten-free dessert menu and only realized it when going over the menu with his staff.
My partner took me for an incredible romantic evening on our fourth anniversary and worked with the staff to arrange a romantic proposal. Anthony came out and greeted us personally and literally sat beside my partner to review the menu before we ordered.
The food was absolutely out of this world - think world-class city-level fine dining, but we and most patrons happily dined in casual shorts. The duck breast was superior to any I’ve had at even Michelin-starred restaurants in New York. Dish presentation would make Food Network judges weep with jealousy. The cost was astoundingly reasonable given the quality of the food and the general affluence of the area - my partner even had a bit of reverse sticker shock after our three-course meal (plus a little extra slice of dessert to try at home!) and commented he had expected the tab to be considerably more.
As an aside, while my partner has celiac but I do not, I was perfectly content with a fully gluten free meal and it was a delight to be able to both dunk our bread into a parsnip soup we were sharing without fear. I in no way felt any items were substandard because of the lack of gluten.
I strongly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I look forward to trying their brunch sometime soon and adding comments on that to this app!
