When I contacted them to ask if they could make anything that would be celiac safe, their answer was a resounding no. They said their kitchen is too small and there's too much risk of cross-contamination. I'm not sure where all of these good reviews are coming from if that was the response from the owner.
I have eaten here twice and both times had the basic taco with the corn tortilla, not the wheat one. The basic has an egg and fried potato. It is tasty and generous - also reasonably priced.
Barely any gf items and the gf items they did have also had nuts, would appreciate a more allergy friendly menu. Waiter was rude when asked for a substitution

Good food, gluten free menu items clearly marked
This place is absolutely amazing. My celiac GF and have eaten there more than 50 times and she never had any issue. We just add a note mentioning she’s Celiac when we order take out. The food is delicious, the staff is so nice. We absolutely love Warude and take as many friends there as we can!
I have eaten here several times and have not gotten sick. They have gluten free items marked on the menu, but not all are celiac safe. They were quick to recommend I not have something fried and they assured me that they would take care to keep me safe. Not a lot of choices but the options available are delicious!
I’m a sensitive celiac. I called ahead and was told that fried items (though marked gluten free on the menu) use shared oil and wouldn’t be appropriate for celiacs. It was also recommended that if I ordered online I could add a note to say I was sensitive and ask for my meal to be prepared in a separate pan. I had the salmon miso bowl with roasted cabbage and seasonal vegetables. I didn’t get sick and it was delicious!
