Review of Water's Edge

First of all, this restaurant does not have a designated cook space or fryer for their food. They list sweet potato fries on the gluten free menu, though.

Second, when we asked if the aforementioned sweet potato fries were cooked in a dedicated fryer (after stating I had celiac and needed to avoid any cross contamination) the waiter laughed and said no, of course not. Like they would be weird to have a designated fryer for Gluten Free food.

Then, after altering my salmon meal to substitute something other than the fries - they brought out a meal WITH those fries. When my husband called them out, the waiter went back and came out with another plate (sans fries) and said they just grabbed the wrong plate. After eating the meal - I found a chunk of the fries still on my plate. Not impressed. Not cool. Not safe for people with celiac.
