I have celiac disease and got extremely sick eating at this establishment. The waitress seemed a little confused when I asked for the gf crust, and I think I may have been served a normal crust. I typically ask before I eat just to be sure, but I forgot this time around. I was sick for 3 days.

Great experience. Waitress made me a little worried at first, but she came back to the table after clearly speaking to the kitchen staff and was much more reassuring.
The CANNOT guarantee safety (just like every other non-GF specific place), but they took all precautions and I'm grateful for it! Pizza was great, no reactions!

Don’t feel very well after eating here so I don’t recommend for celiacs.

Ordered gluten free crust veggie pizza and got very sick within 1 hour of eating it. Must have been some sort of cross-contamination.
Bit expensive, but a solid gf pizza. Wish they had more topping variety.

I have been afraid to eat restaurant pizza due to cross contamination. I'm very sensitive and can become violently ill within 15-30 minutes. I read lots of reviews about Waterstone, called and asked a lot of questions, and decided to try it. They told me to tell my server that I have a severe gluten allergy and they would prepare it in a separate area using fresh ingredients and use a separate oven. I ordered the Margherita pizza. It was very good and I had NO reaction!!! I only gave it 4 stars because the GF crust just wasn't very good in my opinion. But it was so nice to go out for pizza like a normal person!
Yes
These clowns don’t care, I ordered gluten free garden pizza with basil pesto sauce and got so sick. It’s LU kids in the kitchen and they are playing games with people’s health. I have reported this restaurant to the health department. They claim to be gluten free friendly but it is joke.
No
You should ask about some of their sauces because some of them are not gluten free. However, if you mention that you need to eat gluten free they will help you out. I always get the build your own!
Yes
The gf pizza crusts are pre-made and sometimes rather burnt. They are served on a tinfoil pan, probably to avoid contamination when they're baked. A friend of mine was served a pizza that still was on the cardboard from the freezer packaging.

Waterstone is my favorite place in Lynchburg for GF pizza! The crust is really good, some like the GF better than regular. However, the $3 charge for an already pricey pizza is ridiculous. I should not be charged extra for having a disease.
Delicious food!!

The gluten free pizza was so-so. Pre-made crust. The chicken on my pizza tasted land looked like it was out of a can. They also burnt it so it was dry as a bone. It was very cold in the place so I did not drink my tea.. I asked for a to go cup and got a cup the size of a dixie bathroom cup.. Our waitress was also cold. Bad experience. Less than average food. I won't be back.
Excellent pizza. Had the Greek pizza with GF crust & a Gf Ginger beer. Pizza & beer AND gluten free...heck yes
Excellent gluten free pizza! Spoke with waitress and received confirmation that "cross-contamination" warning on the menu was out of date. They have switched to preparing gf pizzas in a gf oven away from the other pizzas. It was delicious! A great experience! (Gluten free pasta was listed on the menu but I did not try it during this visit.)
