I've dined there 4 times since my Celiac diagnosis (the Albuquerque Cottonwood location). Twice I ordered chicken enchiladas. Once the waitress caught it because the chef used the wrong chicken. She sent it back, but they didn't start over with a clean plate. As such, I was glutened. The third and fourth timed I ordered the Santa Fe salad, the gf option. The first was very good. The one today, July 14th, had bread croutons in it so NOT gf. We had a terrible time hunting down wait staff or the host to complain. My husband was so furious that we left. They cannot be trusted! They obviously don't understand Celiac disease.

My daughter ordered an omelette and hash browns. She was feeling sick before she finished eating. They seem knowledgeable, but we don’t know how they cross contaminated in the kitchen.

Fantastic people! Each staff member was friendly and attentive. They have a separate GF menu. I'm GF and Lactose free and was able to find a delicious breakfast without getting sick.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Proceed with caution!! They are knowledgeable but their butter has barley in it. The server showed me the ingredients which I greatly appreciated. Hope they choose to upgrade this cooking staple. They can work around it. Seems like cross contamination would be likely.

Wecks has a great GF menu. I eat there all the time and never get sick-celiac

Weck's has good gluten free options and the servers are wonderful. I suggest the papas with chopped green chile and corn tortillas in place of flour. They've never made me sick and the portions are always plentiful.

Great place to get a huge breakfast. I had the papas bowl with chopped green chile and corn tortillas instead of the flour. So delicious.

Found their gluten-free menu on-line so and decided to try Weck’s for the first time since finding out I’m gluten sensitive. Ordered the original “Papa plate” which is hash browns with bacon, sausage, and diced green Chile. Really good! They brought me the gluten-free menu which was clearly marked what was “gf” and brought my food out separately from my husbands. Very good experience!

Weck’s has a GF menu. Their servers have been knowledgeable about GF options. The hash browns are cooked on a flat top so no need to worry about a shared fryer.
