Wendy's does not have a gluten free menu, but they do list wheat in their allergen guide online. Some locations have dedicated fryers for fries, so please check with the employees each time you visit a location.
The food isn’t gluten free. But only the frostys are. Vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. They don’t come into contact with the food.

I went with a taco salad and was fine after. I used to work there when I was a kid so I kinda know their processes. The salad gets boxed in the morning, I guess there would be some potential for cross contamination but it's all done on a veggie prep table. The chili is made with yesterday's burgers and everything else is pre packaged.

I asked the cashier about gluten free options. The manager ran up started yelling at him that it would be “totally inappropriate “ to answer. Clearly they have no interest in food allergy safety.

My husband went to get me a single gluten free meal and when he ordered it the person at the window said “What?” He repeated the order and the woman said “Is this an April Fool’s joke?” and started laughing. My husband then went inside to talk to the manager. She said that they have never heard of such a menu. Don’t trust any food business unless you want to pay the price, physically. Please make sure of the GF preparation areas in any restaurants. It makes a very big difference, especially to sensitive Celiac’s like myself.
Typical Wendy’s. Mentioning here because the cheeseburger with no bun we do fine with, somehow.
