This is a great location and was a regular stopping point for our family in past years. My daughter has celiac and is gluten free. We would go out of our way to come to whetstone because they were really knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination issues and had a range of options that were delicious (both GF and non GF). In particular we loved the gluten free wings and fries cooked in a separate fryer. Over the last few years the number of gf and non-gf options seems to have dwindled and there is less awareness in general.
We ordered the wings and our server and staff double checked for us and it seems the wings are no longer gluten free nor are the fries despite the good reviews on find me GF. The setting is still great but this restaurant has definitely declined in overall quality in the past few years. We will be updating our review on find me GF.

Menu and waiter stated gluten free chicken tenders. I asked about a fryer and they then said it’s in the same fryer as other gluten products.

Wonderful meal with a view off the back deck. Not only are veggie burgers GF, the server checked with the chef to be sure. GF fries, beer, and cider, too.

Headed up north with the kids for the weekend and needed a gluten friendly stop. We ordered a mix of items off the menu including the gf chicken tenders and fries for our son with Celiac. I asked the server about gluten precautions and he let me know the chicken is coated with cornmeal and friend in a separate fryer along with the fries. Although we didn’t order he said the burger (and grill it’s cooked on) is kept GF and they have a separate gf bun if needed. The chicken tenders were very crispy and the fries were fresh cut style. My three kids happily shared the dish for an afternoon snack. My husband and I enjoyed a flight of beer and I noticed the menu had gluten free drinks to enjoy as well.

Loved the GF tenders and fries! No issues here :) definitely will be back if I’m in the area.

Great food. Can be celiac friendly. They are knowledgeable about Celiac and GF. Waitstaff not always the friendliest, but cook and menu are celiac friendly.

Ordered the gluten free chicken tenders and fries. I didn’t get glutened but it definitely was not an enjoyable meal. The tenders were extremely dry and had no flavor. The fries were nothing special. The other two gluten meals came out incorrect. Be prepared to not be waited on. You order and pay from your phone. The restaurant was on the water which was nice but indoors there were tons of flies while we were eating. I wouldn’t go back.

Great atmosphere and great food. Gluten free items marked on their menu. My daughter got chicken tenders which she loved and they have a dedicated fryer for their French fries. Also had GF bread (for grilled cheese for my other daughter) and GF buns for the burgers/ sandwiches.
We didn’t try them but there was GF beer on the menu as well as ciders.

I’ve eaten here before and had The Hey Ma sandwich. They made it GF in the past as it is one of the things on their menu marked as can be made GF. The person who took my order also told me she thought the onion rings were GF too. They weren’t. Fortunately they told me ahead of time about the o job rings. Shortly after that they also told me the hey ma sandwich was too because there’s bread in the meat. Drove an hour and a half to get here. Wouldn’t trust anything on their menu or what a server says at this point. Manager said he was going to get them to change it.

They have a separate GF fryer. The firecracker chicken tenders and fries were great. Outdoor views are amazing.

Great food, a lot of options, never had any issues. The firecracker chicken tenders are insanely good
Yes
A few interesting options are GF, the burgers unfortunately come on an uncooked, dry roll that really ruins the experience (and an upcharge on the bill). They would be better off not offering a GF roll option as it was inedible.
French fries were great, don't think I'll go back given the limited options. Could be a really nice place if they put a bit more effort into it.
Difficult parking, but nice location.

Dedicated fryer which was awesome. Our waiter seemed very knowledgeable. I had the Station Fries and the Buddha Bowl. Both were delicious. I will definitely return.

Too busy to be truly safe and careful. Packed us up a cookie made with standard wheat flour. Never again.
One of my favorite places to go. Lots of gf options and a dedicated fryer. I've been lots of times and never gotten sick and I'm typically very very sensitive! I come here for the fryer since I cant go anywhere for fried food and the cider. They have lots of cider options that continuously rotate. Can get busy, especially on the weekends but they do call ahead seating and the beer garden has great views
Yes
Great menu marked with gluten free items and also items that can be prepared gluten free.
Pub chips and chocolate mousse were amazing and the ribs were delicious. Lots of GF choices.

Whetstone was a wonderful find on our trip to Lincoln, NH. The food was incredibly good. The atmosphere and the staff remarkable. It’s a wonderful craft brewery right next to the river.
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable. The only thing that was iffy about it was that the woman mentioned that it’s supposed to be a dedicated fryer but they can’t guarantee it. I think she just said that to ensure no liability but the waiter the next day told me it was. I didn’t get sick from their delicious firecracker tenders & French Fries!

Before being diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity I ate here a couple of times and the food was always good so I decided to give it a try now being intolerant to gluten and it was just as great! I had the gf mojo chicken tacos and they were so good! Then to top it off I had the gf strawberry shortcake cake and it was so delicious I couldn’t believe it was gf. The only downfall is the service is extremely slow. We spent an hour and a half from start to end which is way too long which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The food saved the experience so I will definitely be eating here again.
Did not actively keep fryer GF safe. Good not very good.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They are knowledgeable about gluten and have gluten-free chix tenders for the kids. Lots of food options.
Yes
Very knowledgeable staff (our waitress has celiac) who directed us to the best choices for both the celiac and non-celiac. Lots of GF options clearly indicated on the menu Dedicated fryer, so the french fries are gluten free and very good. Excellent burgers and fish tacos. Our waitress recommended against the buns (they use Udis) for the burgers. For non-celiacs, the beers ( and Cheddar Ale soup) were quite tasty.
Yes
Order the Brewhouse burger medium rare, came out well done. Bun was really dry and crumbly, although I’ve come to expect it from most gfree buns and the fries were cold. Staff was nice, but food just didn’t meet the rating.
Yes
This is our second time here and it doesn't disappoint. Both HF and regular items are delicious. The parmesan fries are amazing as is the burger with peanut butter! The bun is good but falls apart quickly. Unfortunately the flourless chocolate peanut butter torte was sold out but the strawberry cake was light and yummy. Waitstaff very friendly and the decor eclectic.

First time eating here. The food was good BUT I was extremely ill afterwards. I got the classic burger and fries, and then had the PB Chocolate torte for dessert. I was unsure if this may have caused my sickness but then I saw a review from a while back where someone else had gotten ill after eating the torte as well so I'll have you draw your own conclusions.
Yes
Dedicated fryer! OMG fries in a restaurant! Beet salad was skimpy. Husband really liked his burger (he did not get GF bun). Kids were happy with their (gluten-full) kid meals. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about GF eating, menu well labeled. And, might have been a coincidence - but they gave us an unopened bottle of ketchup.
Yes
Very accommodating for gluten free meals. I had the pastrami sandwich with a gluten free bun that was delicious. We were there on a Saturday nite and had a long wait but it was well worth the wait.
Yes
Absolutely amazing! The fries alone are worth the trip...I have problem with the bun being extra. That's pretty standard.
Great experience! Dedicated fryer for the yummy French fries. Helpful server too!

Great food and great gf choices. I have 3 children with Celiac Disease and they loved what they got.
Yes
Wonderful menu that lists everything that can be or is gluten free. They have gluten free adult beverages as well with a fun and inviting atmosphere. I gotta say this is a wonderful place great food and the people know what they are talking about when it comes to celiac disease. Wonderful place to go and it's just overall super inviting. I would recommend it to anyone gluten free or not.

Got takeout this last week while passing through for holiday travel. Ordered the Buddha bowl (didn't eat the side salad so can't vouch for that) My meal was very good but agreed with past reviews that for the price- the portions were a little small. Regardless, would definitely visit again and recommend to others.
Waitress was very good and made me feel safe. Had a pastrami rueben with station fries. All very tasty although not the biggest portion but would call again no problem.
Almost everything can be made Gf!!! Large selection of gf beer and cider. Must try the Ipswich Celia !!!!

Great food, lots of gluten free choices, staff knowledgable. Great view. Lots of gf choices for children.

Lots of gluten-free options and a cool vibe to boot!

Knowledgable staff, many options, dedicated fryer for French fries, the bacon!, lovely view, and fun vibe. GF bun is tasty, but so dense I couldn't finish it - which may just be me.
Yes
Nice place to eat, and a good view. Love the maple bacon. PS ginger ketchup isn't GF as of 8/18/13.
