Nearly all food is gluten-free, so little chance of cross-contamination.

We had arepas and cachapas. The arepas were terrific. The cachapas were a bit sweet, but my 5 year old liked it. Ordering 4 things for our family of 4 was a lot of food and we have leftovers.

I am very sensitive and I have eaten here many times without getting sick. The fried plantains are not GF as a caveat. I typically order the catira or the Parilla . All good and safe.

This is our neighborhood favorite. Arepas are always great, well toasted and chewy. The fillings are always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for gluten-free. And we ask for dairy-free as well.

The staff was somewhat knowledgeable but when I Nima tested my arepa with black beans it did not pass. I know their fryer is not dedicated to gluten free. I believe the issue came from the grill the arepa was heated up on but do not know for certain yet.

As far as arepa places go, this place is fairly bland.

Best gluten free food in Cobble Hill or Carroll Gardens. Unlike most places around here, they take gluten seriously. The fact that their arepas are delicious doesn't hurt either.
