This place has AMAZING options. My daughter is 5.5 and thought the gluten free pizza was delicious. Almost all of the desserts are also gluten free so she was able to order a piece of cake. We were a little hesitant to try two things that could cause her to get sick as I feel like pizza and cake are high risk for cross contamination but she wanted to try it so bad and the server answered all of our questions right away and seemed to understand celiac that we took a chance- and I’m glad we did! She didn’t get sick and got to enjoy a great meal. Almost anything on the menu can be made GF so you just need to ask.
Extensive menu and everything is either gluten free or can be gluten free so it's wonderful to have a FULL menu to choose from. They have some interesting items on their menu in addition to their more "normal" fair like (sandwiches, salads burgers and pizzas) - I tried the quinoa sweet potato cakes and they were great, marinated olives were delicious and the wine list is nice with good options that won't break the bank. I always come here when I'm passing through. There is outdoor seating on the walkway, I think that's the best seat in fair weather, they have an outdoor seating area that is a tent and I don't find that very appealing (IMO).
A lot of delicious options, only concern was they didn't mark all items, but that is because the majority of their food was gluten free and those items that usually aren't gf were labeled. An entire gf dessert menu, gluten free cider, delicious food and fun atmosphere!
We are not celiac, but highly gluten intolerant. I can’t speak to safety and am focusing on having an amazing dining experience at an establishment with a TON of gf options. Wild Goat Bistro’s menu is available almost entirely with gluten free or gluten free options on all items. My college daughters eyes got big and her jaw dropped when she realized she could order ANY appetizer on the menu. TMeatballs using gf breadcrumbs, with gf bread on the side to sop up the amazing house made marinara. Polenta fries, roasted Brussels, gf crust for pizza. And gf desserts! This is seriously our new favorite restaurant.
This spot has so many gluten free options. All salads are gf but they also have fun things on the menu like gluten free pasta and pizza. The staff was very confident and comfortable with gluten free. I orders the “Date night pasta” and it had gf fusilli. It was amazing and I will come back the next time I’m in Petaluma.
Wild Goat is incredible. We visited while staying in Petaluma. They have an impressive and creative menu, and they can make almost any of their dishes gluten free. I had the crab dip with gluten free crostini and the pork chop. Both were so good! My kids had a gluten free pizza and the Mary’s chicken. And the gluten free dessert selection was amazing... at least 5 different options to choose from. The coconut cake was some of the best cake I have ever had AND it was gluten free. I can’t say enough good things about Wild Goat. If you are in the area and want a great gluten free meal, it is worth a visit.
Delicious GF food although there is not a dedicated kitchen. Server was very knowledgeable and mindful of my needs. Had a delicious appetizer, sandwich on the best GF roll I've ever eaten and dessert That was incredible.
Some of the best gluten free bread for their sandwiches we've tasted, and I don't think we've ever encountered a non-GF soup there. Plus, gluten free cakes!
Rustic Cali atmosphere with copper played bar, inside and outdoor seating, right off the Main Street on a quiet side street. Ordered the Chilean red blend, meatballs. Friendly service, more GF cakes for dessert than regular cakes. If I lived in Petaluma, I'd frequent this place!
One of my fav restaurants. Always stop here when in Petaluma. Fresh and delicious. Go for lunch if you are on a budget. They offer some great GF desserts and GF bread. The carrot and hummingbird cakes are divine! Their flat breads are also quite good.
I stopped in with some friends and our pup on our way home from camping. We sat outside and the scenery was amazing! I have Celiac and was a little worried reading previous reviews but alas I did NOT get sick! The food was delish! I had a meatball app (I haven't had one in a restaurant in years) all of the meatballs are made gluten free. I also had a burger and gf bun (they have a separate toaster for GF) our server (who was super knowledgable, used to work in a GF bakery was also the person that baked the cakes! I had a slice of blueberry cake with lavender frosting it's was amazing! I will def come back next time I'm in town!
Held my first MeetUp group here: Gluten Free Foodies of the North Bay. Dinners and desserts all gluten free. Tasty fine dining, including pizzas, made especially gluten free, safe and delicious. Nancy, the owner, is GF by choice. The staff is very knowledgeable. Menu is marked.
The absolute best gf pizza in California is their fog lifter pizza. Mmmmm, worth the drive from Sacramento!!!
