I called in to ask if the GF menu was celiac friendly and unfortunately they told me there is chance of cross contamination within the kitchen. Too bad - the food looks incredible.
My servers were very knowledgeable about their gluten-friendly offerings. The restaurant offers an impressive gluten-friendly menu with many options-not the paltry lists I’ve seen at other restaurants. And, the hostess even asked me if needed a GF menu before I was even seated. I had dinner there two successive nights. The mushroom soup and fried calamari are incredible. I’m going back for lunch today.
Had an early lunch reservation first thing at the recommendation of a fellow celiac. Chef Riley brought the gluten friendly menu and we chatted about risks (minimal flour usage in the kitchen and no dedicated fryer). I chose a delicious chicken and avocado burger with side salad (no nuts). The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and understanding of my inquiries. I’m a very nervous sensitive celiac with a seafood allergy, so this was wonderful. The chef seemed to recognize where there might be risks to me and praised our first thing reservation. The food was to die for too. I highly recommend if you can go early and make a reservation advising them in advance. You won’t be sorry in my opinion. Even if it’s fairly pricey. My “burger”, salad and pop were $26, but no more costly for being gluten free.
