I ordered a gluten free pizza and it tested positive for gluten on my Nima sensor. Although they seem very very knowledgeable, they are clearly not careful enough. Thankful for the Nima and not relying on others’ word!

Gluten free menu included several options. The goat cheese and flat bread is an appetizer I will not soon forget. I had a great dining experience except for one of the worst servers I have ever come across. However, I won’t let her spoil it, I will be back.

Have a dedicated GF menu which is just narrowed down list of regular menu items that aren’t introduced to wheat elements. Have GF bread for the table which is a nice touch and tasty. Typical steakhouse fare. Got the baked potato as a side. Good, no issues. Definitely been to way better steakhouses though.

Wildfire was suggested by a local for a typical Chicago steakhouse. The service and atmosphere were great. They have a huge gluten free menu with many choices. Very impressive. I wasn’t super hungry so I skipped the appetizers and salads. I got a small filet and a twice baked potato. They were good but nothing special. The steak had a flag that said “allergy” on it. It tasted like the steak had absolutely no seasoning. I guess they were being abundantly cautious, which I appreciate. But given the large gluten free menu, I would have expected them to know they could use basic seasoning - salt, pepper, garlic, butter - which would have gone a long way for some flavor. Glad we went, but my steak was better at our hotel restaurant. The gluten free flourless cake was amazing!!

Excellent food!! The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable! They even bring gf bread to the table before the meal! Everything that you order from the gf menu has an allergy flag on it so you know they took the time to make sure it was prepared gf. I ordered the parmesan encrusted cod! It was amazing!! The best fish I have ever ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Hi my name is makenna I have celiac, This place was the best. They had a whole separated menu for gluten free and very nice and understanding waiters. I recommend the flour-less chocolate cake. Also they wipe their counters more than once and they even have gluten free bread when you first sit down. I had a cheese burger and it was the best one I ever had even without celiac. I would highly suggest wildfire.

Jesse the bartender and staff were great. food was excellent. they make their own in house bread, buns, and pizza crusts. I got the. bison burger. it was good. the only problem is that the bun disintegrated. I made a suggestion that you have to toast the heck out of the buns, especially if you are using moist ingredients or a juicy burger. enjoy

I attended a family dinner in a private room with a set menu last evening at Wildfire. I called the restaurant the day before to speak to Nicole, the event manager, about my dietary restrictions. She assured me that they could adapt almost everything on the set menu to be gluten free and safe for me to eat. I was asked to inform a server when I arrived that I had celiac. The staff was amazing and very attentive in letting me know which foods were gluten free and making sure I had a safe option for every course. I can honestly say it is the best gluten free food I’ve eaten. Several family members who do not have my dietary restrictions tried some of my GF options and thought they were delicious too. For an appetizer I had a goat cheese & mushroom mini pizza which was fabulous. My Vegetarian son loved & ate more of that than I did. I had two GF salads: a chopped kale salad and a chopped mixed salad with chicken - both salads were flavorful & outstanding. Main entree choices were chicken and salmon. I ate the chicken and it was amazing and so tender. For dessert there were two GF choices: a flourless warm fudge brownie that was heavenly and vanilla ice cream with fresh berries and GF granola that was delicious and visually appealing. I really cannot extend enough praise about how wonderful the food and service was at Wildfire. So refreshing to go to a restaurant and not have to worry if my food is safe for me to eat or feel like your restrictions are an inconvenience.

The best GF experience I've had anywhere. They didn't just have GF offerings, they had a complete 2 page menu of items like any other diner would receive. Even the blue cheese dressing and Bernaise sauces were safe. The croutons in the salads were fantastic and the French onion soup is as delicious as a non-GF version. I've also never had more attentive service.

Loved this restaurant. The server was not very knowledgable but the menu was extensive and my meal was great. The server just asked others about the questions I had. My friends had bread before their meal which they kept away from my plates. Then all of a sudden someone brought me GF bread too!!! Very nice. The chocolate chip cookies were sooo good. I would definitely go back.

The food here was amazing. The service was the best we've had, possibly ever. The gluten free menu was a full menu with full items. Not the typical, 'you can have this but without the bread, cheese, sauce, and flavor'. The homemade bread was absolutely delicious. I felt like someone without food allergies there. Shockingly for the high quality, the prices were very reasonable. I've paid far more for far less. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

While we were in Chicago for the Celiac Awareness Tour, we decided to stay an extra night and spend some time in the city. After a little research on a few different apps and websites - both Yelp and FindMeGlutenFree recommended Wildfire for dinner.

I'm notorious for making reservations before we go anywhere because I am so impatient and hate waiting in a crowded little area for a table. So I frequently use Opentable.com to secure a seat before leaving the house. The only times available were 5:15pm or 9:30pm. We decided on 5pm because we hadn't really eaten lunch due to being at the convention.

When we got there, I asked for the gluten free menu. Everyone was very accommodating - Check out this gluten free menu!!

Are you kidding me? Was I dreaming? I hit the gluten free Chicago jack pot. Since we were there and they had this great menu - we were definitely going to try some stuff.

One of the things I miss is being able to order an appetizer occasionally. All of them are usually fried but I really enjoy having a snack before my meal comes.

We decided to try the baked goat cheese. OMG - it came with gluten free pita chips that were to die for.

After looking at the menu - we both decided on a nice juicy cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. How often do I get this? Never so I certainly was going to go for it! Aaron even decided on a gluten free burger with me! They were delicious. The bun tasted great. The burger was delicious with no gluten filled fillers - cooked to perfection!

Then we shared sides of a sweet potato and a twice baked potato. Totally fantastic as well. Enough for 3 people each!

The entire time we were dining - our waitress continued to come back and make sure everything was ok. If I had a question about something, she checked with the chef or the manager and came back to tell me what she found out. I've never felt so safe dining out! There needs to be way more gluten free menu restaurants like Wildfire!!

During the meal I enjoyed some wine and they even brought out a gluten free (hot and fresh) bun to eat while Aaron had his regular bread!

Didn’t get a very knowledgeable waiter so we did not have a pleasant time. Burger was very good but kind of felt judged for having an allergy. He got very confused when we had 2 people with allergies to wheat & dairy. Now I am up at 3am with an aching stomach pain & nausea. Definitely not safe for celiac ):

I have dined at Wildfire twice. Once in the summer of 2019 and once this month (october 2020). The ambiance is great and the food is delicious. Unfortunately Wildfire is NOT celiac friendly. The first time I ate here I got incredibly sick. I wanted to give it another chance because of the great gluten free reviews and I thought maybe the first time was just a fluke. But I got even sicker the second time I ate here. I made it extremely clear to the server both times that I have a serious allergy. My food came out marked gluten free, but was definitely cross contaminated. I’m so surprised Wildfire has multiple positive gluten free reviews.... I wish it was safe for me to eat because the food is delicious but I won’t be returning.

I called to order take-out during the 2020 social distancing. I was asking questions, and it was clear the person on the phone was not as educated as the regular waitstaff, managers, or chefs. (Her definition of being gluten free is offering a special bun for sandwiches...when my question was about cross contamination.) But the good news is the majority of the staff understands allergens and takes them seriously. I have never gotten sick.

Excellent ribs, chicken, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes. A little sad I couldn’t order the medallions, but they weren’t on the gluten free menu.

Delicious restaurant!
