EDIT 8/24/24 - Came back to try this place again and truly believe they are outstanding and my first review was a one time issue. This place was outstanding with accommodating our allergies. This is a 5 star restaurant and we will certainly be back for additional visits.

The very best GF bread I’ve ever had! Everything comes out with an allergy tag and there is a separate GF menu. I love the variety and feel very comfortable with how the staff and chef responded to my needs. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent. Had full gluten free menu with plenty of options. Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. Even had gluten free dessert. Made sure food was not cross contaminated and kept sides separate so my boyfriend and I could share

Had a very good experience. Waiter was very aware and made sure to address our concern about cross-contamination. The salmon was delicious and they served GF bread!
Amazing food and service! I booked on OpenTable and put in a comment that I had celiac and when we arrived they asked how many gluten free menus we needed. The gluten free menu is large, giving me lots of options. They even had gluten free bread to start which was amazing considering I generally have to sit and watch everyone else eat the bread! I got an entree and dessert and both were fantastic and did not get me sick!
Went for a family dinner and had an outstanding experience! Told the host I was gluten free and was brought a GF menu. Server was knowledgeable and brought me gluten free bread to start. Was able to get appetizer/entree/dessert! Very good service and food. Recommend for a nice dinner out!
All food was delivered labeled for me as gluten free and made without cross contamination . I ordered the prime rib with a sweet potato, food was high quality and the server was willing to ask the chef questions to ensure my needs were met
The French onion soup was delicious! They substituted GF bread. The service was very quick for take-out.
Been here many times and they do a fantastic job. In response to a previous review, unfortunate nima are not reliable. I stopped using mine long ago.
Really great steakhouse! They even have GF French onion soup!! So yummy! It’s a little pricey but worth it to get a good GF meal!

I ordered a gluten free pizza and it tested positive for gluten on my Nima sensor. Although they seem very very knowledgeable, they are clearly not careful enough. Thankful for the Nima and not relying on others’ word!

Gluten free menu included several options. The goat cheese and flat bread is an appetizer I will not soon forget. I had a great dining experience except for one of the worst servers I have ever come across. However, I won’t let her spoil it, I will be back.
Have a dedicated GF menu which is just narrowed down list of regular menu items that aren’t introduced to wheat elements. Have GF bread for the table which is a nice touch and tasty. Typical steakhouse fare. Got the baked potato as a side. Good, no issues. Definitely been to way better steakhouses though.
Wildfire was suggested by a local for a typical Chicago steakhouse. The service and atmosphere were great. They have a huge gluten free menu with many choices. Very impressive. I wasn’t super hungry so I skipped the appetizers and salads. I got a small filet and a twice baked potato. They were good but nothing special. The steak had a flag that said “allergy” on it. It tasted like the steak had absolutely no seasoning. I guess they were being abundantly cautious, which I appreciate. But given the large gluten free menu, I would have expected them to know they could use basic seasoning - salt, pepper, garlic, butter - which would have gone a long way for some flavor. Glad we went, but my steak was better at our hotel restaurant. The gluten free flourless cake was amazing!!
This place is amazing. Completely separate gluten free menu and gives out gluten free bread! So many possible options and they take the allergy very seriously! We went back twice in one week because it was so tasty and you got a lot of food for your money too!!
They have gluten free bread, many options and incredible food at a reasonable price for the type of restaurant. Definitely recommend
Excellent food!! The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable! They even bring gf bread to the table before the meal! Everything that you order from the gf menu has an allergy flag on it so you know they took the time to make sure it was prepared gf. I ordered the parmesan encrusted cod! It was amazing!! The best fish I have ever ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best experience in Chicago thus far. Waiter had excellent knowledge and brought out gluten free bread without being asked. Enjoyed a filet followed by an incredible gf molten lava cake. Can’t wait to go back
Excellent!!! I have gluten and dairy allergies and the waiter was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I had beef medallions and balsamic veggies. So good!
I’ve been here twice and the first time was amazing!!! The second time was still good, just not as good service. (Depends on the server) Great gluten free options and they even bring out gf bread!! Very awesome!!

Staff was very knowledgeable! There’s a HUGE,separate gf menu! Had a wonderful dinner of French onion soup, filet, and au gratin potatoes. I even received my own plate of gf bread ~ which never happens! You must visit this gem when in Chicago!
Hi my name is makenna I have celiac, This place was the best. They had a whole separated menu for gluten free and very nice and understanding waiters. I recommend the flour-less chocolate cake. Also they wipe their counters more than once and they even have gluten free bread when you first sit down. I had a cheese burger and it was the best one I ever had even without celiac. I would highly suggest wildfire.
Jesse the bartender and staff were great. food was excellent. they make their own in house bread, buns, and pizza crusts. I got the. bison burger. it was good. the only problem is that the bun disintegrated. I made a suggestion that you have to toast the heck out of the buns, especially if you are using moist ingredients or a juicy burger. enjoy
I attended a family dinner in a private room with a set menu last evening at Wildfire. I called the restaurant the day before to speak to Nicole, the event manager, about my dietary restrictions. She assured me that they could adapt almost everything on the set menu to be gluten free and safe for me to eat. I was asked to inform a server when I arrived that I had celiac. The staff was amazing and very attentive in letting me know which foods were gluten free and making sure I had a safe option for every course. I can honestly say it is the best gluten free food I’ve eaten. Several family members who do not have my dietary restrictions tried some of my GF options and thought they were delicious too. For an appetizer I had a goat cheese & mushroom mini pizza which was fabulous. My Vegetarian son loved & ate more of that than I did. I had two GF salads: a chopped kale salad and a chopped mixed salad with chicken - both salads were flavorful & outstanding. Main entree choices were chicken and salmon. I ate the chicken and it was amazing and so tender. For dessert there were two GF choices: a flourless warm fudge brownie that was heavenly and vanilla ice cream with fresh berries and GF granola that was delicious and visually appealing. I really cannot extend enough praise about how wonderful the food and service was at Wildfire. So refreshing to go to a restaurant and not have to worry if my food is safe for me to eat or feel like your restrictions are an inconvenience.
Incredibly knowledgeable staff, huge gluten free menu and delicious food. The GF chopped salad, macadamia nut crusted halibut and flourless chocolate cake were all delicious! And I did not get sick from cross-contamination. Great restaurant for celiacs!!!
The best GF experience I've had anywhere. They didn't just have GF offerings, they had a complete 2 page menu of items like any other diner would receive. Even the blue cheese dressing and Bernaise sauces were safe. The croutons in the salads were fantastic and the French onion soup is as delicious as a non-GF version. I've also never had more attentive service.
This place has delish food, great design and ambiance, and amazing allergy protocols. You can go on their website to learn more. Food even comes out with an allergy toothpick, which is so reassuring.

Everything was delicious and we had no concerns about cross contact. We enjoyed steaks and the macadamia nut crusted halibut, Au Gratin potatoes and other sides - all very tasty! The GF bread served before the meal was good too. The server was very well informed and we felt safe eating there.
Great food, elegant atmosphere, lots of gf options. They have GF French onion soup, their own gluten free bread which tastes really good. Macadamia nut crusted halibut was exceptional as well as Cedar plank salmon.
First time here and it was fantastic. They have gluten free bread, which is very close to the real deal (rice based). I applaud the chef for a great job on the menu as the selection is huge, and great tasting. It's is pricey but this is fresh and that's what matters.
pepperoni pizza..the bomb...the bread was fluffy and tasty, great menu with mac and cheese. yes, I said mac and cheese gluten free. this is a must eat while in Chicago!
this place is insane. they partner with the celiac center at Chicago University and have an awesome and extensive GF menu. they make their own bread and pizza crust and have desserts as well. A MUST stop in Chicago.

Extensive GF menu! Very safe. They have GF options even on their kids menu. The adult GF menu is a FULL 2 page menu! They make their own GF rolls from Domata living flour - tasty! They had 4 dessert options!
We eat there every year for graduation, and it's always delicious. Definitely try the macadamia nut encrusted halibut, I am still dreaming about that today and it's been nearly two months since graduation😂. Huge gluten free menu, a wonderful restaurant to go to.

I feel this place is underrated. GF menu and they seem knowledgeable and make homemade GF bread for many entrees. Good food.
Had a gluten free menu and the server was really knowledgeable about cross contact. They have to fill out an allergy ticket and get it signed off by the head chef. Food came out with allergy markers and was really good! I got a steak sandwich with au gratin potatoes and it was delicious!
Very extensive gluten free menu—I’ve never seen such a selection. Knowledgeable wait staff. The chef sends out the food with the manager and an “allergy” marker on the plate. Food was delicious; I had the side salad, cedar plank salmon and red mashed potatoes. 5 stars!

New favorite restaurant. Very lengthy Gluten Free Menu. Make you homemade gluten free bread. Do not upcharge for gluten free options. Most delicious French dip sandwich I have ever had. Omg. I went today and want to go back tomorrow. Hands down one of the best Gluten Free meal I have had. They truly go out of their way for allergies. No reaction at all.
