I had a great turkey sandwich here with unusual ingredients and a delicious gf roll that they put in the oven separately. I’m very sensitive and had no reaction. Highly recommended!

While cross-contamination is not guaranteed to be prevented, they take many precautions. Sandwich bread was a little chewy, but yummy. I enjoyed my lunch, bought some pastries to go, and will definitely be back!

They are up front that they can't guarantee no cross contamination. That being said, I'm a pretty sensitive celiac and have eaten here a few times and gotten different sandwiches on gluten free bread, and have never gotten sick. They always ask "preference or allergy?" when you order GF, and they have an allergy button which prompts the kitchen to clean surfaces and wrap up the sandwich before it goes in the toaster. Also their sandwiches are really great! I recommend the figgy Piggy.

Lots of GF options. Red flagged for “allergy”. Solid choice in Golden.

I ordered the GF egg, bacon and cheese sandwich. It was very good. I also had a caramel latte, but it was not very sweet. I had to bout some nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa to make it better. Over all had a nice vibe and good food. First time in Golden, very quaint town.

I ordered a gluten free breakfast sandwich. When it came to the table, I asked the server to confirm it was a gluten free sandwich. He assured me that it was. Though I’d never encountered a gluten free croissant before, I thought it was a pleasant surprise. About halfway through the sandwich, the waiter came over to tell me it wasn’t gluten free. I will be fine, but my concern is what happened to people who have food allergies like peanut allergies who would anaphylax? The manager and staff didn’t seem to appreciate that they need to pay attention to people with food allergies. I don’t think anyone who has any kind of food allergy should go to this establishment.

I used to love it here. The vibe is excellent, and they make multiple gf scones muffins etc., often they even have vegan gf. A few years ago my son had a horrible gluten reaction after eating the supposedly safe option. I had ventured back and had a few safe trips until last week I left with a horrible headache and brain fog. The baking area is tiny and they must not be able to control for cross contamination.

Great selection of gf baked goods, have always had several to choose from when I've been there.

this place is recommended as if it is completely gluten free or has a ton of options. the day we tried to get fiod there, they gad run out of gluten free bread and only offered a hummus salad as an alternative. staff needs to think a bit more out of the box. any of the sandwich ingredients should have had gluten free variation without the gluten free bread.
Great cafe that has started making their own GF baked goods. Their bread is not the GF bread that most other places serve. It is made there and has a nice hearty flavor and a much fuller texture than Udi's. They also have GF muffins, cookies and scones.
