After reading the earlier reviews, had my heart set on some spicy garlic chicken. Went to order and they said the only way they can make it gluten free is without sauce. Uhhh...? So it's just chicken with broccoli then? So I asked what entree with sauce I could have... They said none. It had to be dry. Forget this! Ordered a sushi roll no ponzu sauce. Won't be back.
i would be advised the kitchen isn't truly gluten free friendly. The staff isn't expected to be knowledgeable of these allergens so do your research when going to eat before bugging the waitress.
With that said, i have been going through their menu at one location and I have a list of items that are make without gluten (don't forget to have the server tell the chef of your allergy so there is no cross contamination)
all the soups, seaweed salad, crispy garlic wings, all edamame, garlic brussels sprouts, black pepper beef mignon, Korean style short ribs, curry chicken, spicy garlic chicken, braised string beans, garlic spinach, sauteed chinese broccoli, garlic noodle with parm, shanghai lo mein, singapore noodles, all of the reg and fried rices.
Most sushi except those with eel sauce, ponzu sauce, and tempura
Maybe I came on an off night, but the staff was clueless. They had tamari, but they brought my salad with deep fried wontons. I sent it back. They brought another and it one piece wonton in it. I sent that back. The. My sashimi came and there was tempura batter flakes sprinkled on top. Sent that back. They finally got it right, but the the sashimi wasn't very fresh.
Thiha recommended this restaurant - they can make many dishes gluten free to order. Great food, accommodating staff, and organic tamari packets instead of bad tasting gf soy sauce!
I will update after eating the food, but went here pretty late at night and they had a whole menu with a bunch of options. Friendly staff and they double checked everything we ordered could be made properly.
