No dedicated fryer anymore, but they have multiple gluten free bread options. I go here often and have never had any issues.

I’ve been going to Woody’s for years. In that time I’ve seen a noticeable change in the staff’s attitude and awareness of food allergies.

They recently changed their menu and reduced the number of gluten free items.

I recently visited for lunch and told our server me and my friend both have Celiac. We ordered only items marked GF but we both got sick. We agreed it felt more like cross contamination than straight gluten.

They no longer have dedicated fryers. I was told they did from the waitress but the manager said they no longer offer that. The waitress should have been educated. So glad I talked to the manager first.

After eating here twice without any issues but this time I unfortunately got served regular bread instead of gluten free. I ate two pieces before they came back out and apologized. They comped the bill and felt terrible about it. This was most likely a one time slip up and they’re probably still a safe place to eat at but the mistake was made.

Gluten free items clearly marked on menu. MANY options. Earlier here someone posted no dedicated fryer but when I called they said they have A dedicated fryer, so that must have changed.

Gluten free desserts. The GF frozen chocolate mousse is delicious and comes topped with peanut butter glaze, caramel, and sea salt! Gluten free bread and buns. They also have GF ice cream floats. Wait staff great. Very close to St Vincent Carmel Hospital for those who may need that.

Awesome place. Diagnosed a couple months ago. First place I’ve been where I feel comfortable ordering something other than a salad with no protein. Delicious. Great service.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The gluten free bread basket was amazing. The loaded fries were delicious and the shrimp appetizer was too! They even have bite sized gluten free desserts.

I loved this place. I'm dairy free, too, and appreciate their options. Had grilled shrimp and sweet potato fries. Have eaten there twice without any issues.

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Our waitress warned me of any possible cross-contamination issues and continued to help me throughout our meal. The food was wonderful. The service was fantastic.

Great place with options spelled out clearly on menu for gluten, lactose, and vegan. Had the salmon slammers with pineapple Pico side. Very tasty although very small. Just right for lunch though. Love the library itself. Be aware there is no way to enter without many steps to climb or descend.

Best allergy-frkendly restaurant in the area. Menu is clearly marked with GF, lactose-free, and vegan options. Staff are knowledgeable and kind, and always make me feel really safe eating there. I've never gotten sick eating here, and I airways have a good time. I feel like I can relax and focus on the people I'm with without writing if I'll be sick in an hour. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Located in what once was a Carnegie public library, Woody's features everything from classic comfort-food favorites to any type of creation Chef Richelle can think up. Open for lunch and dinner, this bi-level libraryturned- local food spot offers plenty of gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan alternatives. In addition to their gluten-free entrees, customers are encouraged to try the "build your own" option by choosing a protein, sauce and two sides.
